The clip at 0:45 the girl is holding the horse back right up to the fence, so he interprets that as her not wanting to go over the fence, but at 1:55 she seems to be doing everything right, but the horse goes "Nope!". A little more leg in that situation might have pushed him over the fence, though.

I have a horse that as soon as he stops spins and takes off... hontestly id rather do a wierd dismount than be flung outta the tack onto my face!!! Hahahaha:))

One question, i don't know, maybe someone smart from here can answer. Why do people let go of the reins if they fall down? For as long as i have been riding ( and thats a lot, so don't even start) ive always taught to hold on. If a horse steps on them or runs away, then you're fucked. Explain, please.

@CassieScarlett When your falling, most peoples arms will try to dampen the fall and try to save you from having such a painful landing by REFLEX. 99.9% of the people letting go of the reins dont even realize it - its just natural reflex. At first they will hold on (also by reflex.) but then they use thier arms to protect themselfs. In almsot all of these videos you can see thier arms reaching for the ground no matter how they are falling.

i think i found a common reason why i fall and lots of ppl fall i think its when you lean forward before the jump. idk maybe the horse is llike wtf and just stops

@Mavedalicious yehh most falls are because of this :) i used to do it all the time then i watched a program on telly about jumping and i learnt more from that hour program then i did ever before. one thing it said was that the horse is kind of like a see saw. if you lean forward to early it makes it difficult for it to lift its forehand so you should sit back in the saddle until the horse begins to take off then take up the jump position :)

That hurts the horses. If that happens, I do not want to be a horse. This is from the rider unwanted animal cruelty. Why there are somthink like that?
