  • is this in the english version?

  • were can i find the picture from the song?

  • 7 people can suck it

  • can I know where to download this song? =D

  • With 13 characters, I think Symphonia breaks the record for the most playable characters in an RPG....

  • @sonic26000 the suikoden series 68 would like a word.

  • I declare the need to make a prequel that is Mithos, Kratos, Yuan, and Martel and their adventures. But I want the same voice actors. Because if they do the same thing they did with Lloyd in ToS2, I shall die. Again.

  • @tooeasy92894

Well I personally disliked Lloyd's Robin voice more than his new one. So I have no problembs. But i like his jap the best.

  • @SKATERBOY96ify It is not a matter of disliking or not, it is continuity. You get attached to Lloyd with Scott Menville's voice and then ToS2 completely detached you from him with a new Voice Actor

  • This music is only in the PS2 version, or am I wrong??? ´Cause I never heard THAT in my Gamecube version...

  • @SuperSajayin2Gohan

its the Japanese gamecube version main theme

  • @KanjiShinful I want to can Japanese and live there ... *_*

  • Yes finally found it! A remix of Starry Heavens, I have the PS2 version's song's heroic version on my ipod, I knew there had to be one for Starry Heavens.

And man, can't even spell heroic. You know, the word heroic comes from the word 'hero'?

  • It's ironic how pretty much every single tales game has to make some sort of remix to its opening Symponia,Abyss,Vesperia,Legendia, ect

  • A prequel huh...maybe with the Four Seraphim and their allies back when they weren't as strong as they were in the original Symphonia?

  • I always use this song to help me brain storm ideas for the book I'm writing and I have writers block. Also it really helps when I'm in really depressed or angry as it calms me down because it makes me remember all my fond memory's of tales of symphonia and I wanted to thank you for uploading such a great song for us to enjoy. So thanks

  • @MiciahsLight yay, i'm in the same situation and feel the same way about Resolution of the People from Vesperia. Good luck to you!

  • @MiciahsLight

This song helps me study for my Calculus test ^^ I scored 90% on it.

Why reply to you? Because you're a FE fan too.

  • Kratos deserved to be in the middle. He's just badass.

  • Man. I've heard this music so many times. But I never knew this was Tales Of Symphonia.

  • Good times. I wish they make another sequel or a prequel...that didn't suck like ToS: Dawn of the New World. I hated all the characters. n.n

  • wanna play through krato's story

  • OMG, NOSTALGIA

  • Maybe they should make a prequel...I just hope they don't botch it completely like they did with the sequel.

  • @TheEternallylost Tales of Symphonia was a prequel to the entire Tales series... Making a prequel to a prequel would be redundant imo.

  • @Ranos17 You can hardly call ToS a prequel. It was a way distant story simply set in the same broad realm as Tales of Phantasia. Tales of Symphonia needs a prequel to explain the many loose ends regarding Kratos, Mithos, etc.

  • @dezreki I don't think so, you can hardly call them loose ends since almost everything about them is explained during the game, if they were to make a prequel we would already know how it would all end up anyway so it would be pretty boring. All that to possibly explore one or two details which aren't that important, not worth it. With that way of thinking you would need a prequel to everything since there's always backstory to the backstory.

  • @Ranos17 thats it the battle system is what makes the games great to me! if the game was a just a plain out turn based RPG it would suck! but since thats a final fantasy and it works for that series because of how it is designed

  • @Ranos17 Actually, there are some things that can't really be explained. Least not clearly. We know that Mithos went and gathered the Summon Spirits, ending the war, and that Martel had gotten sick (twice) along the way. However, exactly in which order did these events happen, and how they happened would be nice to see. One on one battles with every summon spirit would be fun as well, imo.

  • @DigiPeachFruit It would be nice to see... But it's extremely little to go on, those are barely a few details. We already know how Mithos' adventures turn out too, so the game wouldn't be able to pull off the plot twists we see in ToS very easily. With that in mind, how bare of game would that be? A good story doesn't have to be dried up completely, that's where sequels typically fail, any attempt to further expand the story of ToS in one direction or another would be just that.

  • @Ranos17 I see your point. I'm sure that there are way they can expand on it though, give us things we haven't seen (him meeting with Yuan, how exactly we got the two countries together) With the game, they can always add an alternate "non-canon" ending, in which Martel /doesn't/ die (I think it's been done in games before). With that said, some people like things they are familiar with rather than something new (rather see an old play than a new play for example).

  • @DigiPeachFruit have you guys seen tales of Fandom? its on youtube some where. it does give an insight - be it small - on the journey Kratos, Mithos, Yuan and Martel took. you learn a bit about Kratos Past too.

  • @crystaldemy9 Indeed I have. However, it still doesn't exactly expand on a few points, such as the other infection Martel gets (the one Colette gets in the game), and while others may not me, I'm personally confused on the order of a few events. So while it did have a small bit on them, I would love to see more. :)

  • @Ranos17 That's a little outdated. Tales of Vesperia for xbox has the origin of several summon spirits as well as mana itself. I'd say that vesperia is the prequel

  • @TheEternallylost NEVER say that that piss poor excuse for a game is the sequel, its a spin off, just one of the MANY things that could have happened after the unification of the world, and in fact Tales of Phantasia is the sequel.

sorry I just exploded on you. i just hate it when people say 'its a sequel'

  • @crystaldemy9 trust me. I agree that it was a total disappointment. and as for your other comment, yes, that is true as well. in none of my games did Lloyd ever go on the journey to collect exspheres with Collete. I ususally ended up with Sheena or Genis. there was one time it was Zelos too, that was kinda funny...but Tales of Phantasia? I don't know...I've never played it myself, but Vesperia on 360 also has elements of a sequel as well.

  • @TheEternallylost Phantasia is set in Aseria 4000 years after ToS. same calender

and in one part of Phantasia you have to get the eternal sword, and find Vorple and Flameburge, and you find Flameburge in a clearing in a forest next to a head stone/monument thing right where lloyd left it.(I think, its been aaaages since i last played ToP)

  • @crystaldemy9 You mean his mother's grave?

  • @Doomed100 yes.

:D the whole ToS And ToP is cool but also very sad

  • @TheEternallylost What was wrong with Phantasia? :P I don't regard DoTNW as canon.

  • @Zahaele

    simple...never played it.

  • @TheEternallylost Which sequel? Phantasia or Symphonia 2?

    Sorry, couldn't resist...

  • @TheEternallylost Well DOTNW isnt even an actual sequel, its a spinoff they made to see how well a sequel would do.

  • @SaberWingDragon Personally, I'm playing DOTNW now. It isn't great, but I can find some really good things to it.

  • @SapphireLibra3 I haven't played it yet, mostly because theres something about Emil that really bothers me, can't figure out what it is though :I.

Also, the voice change kills me.

And some of the things don't line up between games, which also bothers me, what are some of the good things to it?

  • @SaberWingDragon Well, for one thing, it does sort of play out like a sequel, as it actually does continue the story (even if it could be argued that it was done in the first game).

It's challenging, but in a good way, and the way the old characters are added to the game is sort of cool.

And I don't know why you don't like Emil. I mean, sure he's a wimp in the beginning of the game, but his story gets pretty interesting.

  • @SapphireLibra3 I think i'm gonna have to try it at some point so I can judge it accurately, and I really think it's his voice, but i'm not sure, maybe his personality from what i've seen? Whenever I get to playing it, I'll figure it out lol

And I read an article about it, they made it a spinoff, not a sequel in order to see how many people would buy it, and how well a sequel would do. For the sequel it would've had elements of the spinoff, but more in depth, and better developed. I read that...

  • @SapphireLibra3 a couple years ago though. I have no idea if it did well enough to warrant a true sequel or what the company's gonna do with it.

  • @TheEternallylost would be awsome if they had it where the main characters were Mithos, Martel, Kratos and Yuan

  • @TheEternallylost Technically they already did. It's called Tales of Phantasia

  • @TheEternallylost At least it wasn't as bad as how Sqaure Enix FUCKED up Final Fantasies XI, XII, XIII and XIV

  • @CyC10n345 and also X-2.

  • @TheEternallylost They should make it where you can play Mithos, Martel, Yuan, and Kratos.

    :DD

  • @TheEternallylost They should of just kept the gameplay and shit like the first. The sequels story is nice. Ive yet to finish all of it myself. Atleast they made a sequel. XD

  • @TheEternallylost I do think it would be fun to play as Mithos, Kratos, and Yuan :D

  • @MrNintendoFanMan And of course we'd get to play as Martel as well. And maybe some new characters that did fight with them but were never mentioned.

  • @TheEternallylost IT was a tragedy what happened with the sequel..

  • @TheEternallylost like a hd remake with more anime scene sepical chapter and all hi ougis

  • @holykirby95 I dont think bringing the tales series over to america would be enough to save the company. Trust me I love tales as much as the next guy, and probably more, but its true that it IS a risk to bring any jrpg not called final fantasy to america and europe. Sucks, but it is true.

  • @Barrylocke the sad part is that your right :P if people would realize that final fantasy sucks ass *the new ones 7 and below are awesome :D* and realize that tales is far better we would most likely be able to get some of them if it was known by namco we would get some of the new ones but no cause people only know about FF it is irritating is it not?

  • @holykirby95 Eh, 8 may not be that great, but 9 is my favorite and 10 is excellent too imo (11-13 Ive never played). Im not hating on the series at all, its got a lot of good stuff. Its just a shame that a few other games dont get to share the spotlight, that's all.

  • @holykirby95 Final Fantasy sucks ass? I'd hardly go that far. They have superior marketing, music and storyline. The Tales series generally has more interesting characters, but that's really about where it falls short -- and I wouldn't even say Tales of Symphonia has more than a couple interesting characters. Battle System - Great. Co-Op Mode - Awesome. Everything else - Average.

  • i think lloyd should be in the very middle since he is the main character, BUT i prefer kratos in the middle because he is one sexy beast! :3

  • too bad you cant download it on itunes... or at least i cant find it... :(

  • Just curious; where did you find the picture? :)

  • man, prequel of tales of symphonia would be ridiculous. Because then tales of phantasia becomes a sequel (ToS prequel) of a sequel (ToS) of a sequel (Dawn). Woahhhhhh. But I still want it :(

  • @Titandrake Tales of Phantasia is a part of timeline too.

  • GASP 6 people were swept away!

  • in fly for fun use the very similar song. in some areas.

  • Does what it says on the tin! :D

  • man i wish i still had my copy of this game T^T

  • I'd Like a Vesperia Prequel / Sequel, an Actual Symphonia sequel, in between ratatosk and the original, where you play as Lloyd as the main character, but switch to Kratos from time to time to play as Lloyd as he searches for exspheres, and Kratos as he travels with Derris-Kharlan . I think there would be stories to tell about what happens in between the two games, plus I know EVERYONE would want to see more adventures from Brave Vesperia :D

  • No...a prequel would be a terrible idea. Symphonia's story was over a long time ago. Why they brought back the gang for a sequel is beyond me. It was good, but nothing to really write home about. A prequel would just be easily forgotten. There's no need for the story to be expanded upon.

  • @CrimsonZanpakuto

No adventures of Mithos, Kratos, Yuan, and Martel?

  • @BlackBlitz7 There's no need to. If I recall correctly, there were no adventures at all. So making some up would be pretty bad.

  • @CrimsonZanpakuto

The whole thing with the Great Kharlan War. And yeah, they had an adventure. In ToS2 it was mention about they came across Ratatosk in their journey.

  • @BlackBlitz7 Okay, then riddle me this; what would they do? What adventures would be had without completely screwing up continuity, yet still somehow hold tension and suspense? What reason would there be for anything to happen at all when the only important aspect of the story has already been told? This isn't like the Star Wars prequels where we want to know how Anakin became Vader; we already know.

And, as I said, even if it were plausible, it probably wouldn't be very good anyways.

  • @CrimsonZanpakuto

I'm not a developer, I wouldn't know exactly how the adventures or anything could be implemented. It just would seem interesting, in my opinion, but to each his own. It'll never happen Tales Stuido is going broke.

  • @BlackBlitz7 Now don't be so sure to just end it there. Sure, things look bad, but it's probably going to be alright in the end; Tales will live again, of this, I'm sure.

  • @CrimsonZanpakuto

I can only hope they continue..cause lol I still want PS3 Vesperia.

  • @BlackBlitz7 I'd rather we get Tales of Graces before Vesperia ps3, though that'd be nice too.

  • @Barrylocke

Well yeah. You're right. I've at least played some form of Vesperia...so it would be nice to get Graces first..

  • @BlackBlitz7 i think u will be getting what your wanting because look at gamestop.com and type in tales of vesperia there is no more JP release date there is a TBA!!!!

  • @holykirby95

    No.

  • @BlackBlitz7 no rlly rlly there is!!!! go look for yourself i just checked again im serious it rlly is there for the PS3

  • I ordered number 1 and 2 last week! Its supposed to be coming soon!! I'm so excited!! I've been verbally dancing!! *dances*

I love this song so much!! I like this version more than the instrumental!

  • when is this played in the game? i don't recall hearing it.

  • I dont care if others think Vesperia is the best tales game, I think even on the Game cube Symphonia still beats it (if it had a bunch more of fancy costumes and shiny anime mystic artes, i bet more people would think so too)

  • @NecessaryLoss Vesperia for me was by far the worst Tales game...just ripped off all the others, the story was bland we just went wherever Estelle wanted and there was hardly a ZOMG plot twist, Karol couldn't fight for crap, and everyone really wants to fight ___in EX dungeon and what must they do? Run around the same dungeon 35 FRIGGIN TIMES!!! And half the sidquests must be started at oart 1 and finish in part 3. And the party keeps saying their goodbyes and reunited two minutes later

  • @Dsurvivor21stCentury Vesperia the worst Tales game? wow.....

  • @LucasHorclox I gave my reasons

  • @Dsurvivor21stCentury Personally I think Tales of the Tempest was the worst Tales game. Technically it wasn't really bad, but Namco could've made a WHOLE LOT better. I hope they give it a remake in the future.

  • @LucasHorclox @LucasHorclox Oh yeah!!!! I forgot about Tales of the Tempest. That game was the worst I heard its storyline was only 10 hours. Wasn't it only released in Japan? Do you understand Japanese?

  • @Dsurvivor21stCentury HA I never bothered to import it. I only imported Tales of Innocence and Hearts. I dont undertsand Japanese, but I do use online translations to help me through the game, especially for heavy imports such as Rebirth, Destiny Remake DC and Destiny 2.

  • If there's ever going to be a prequel it shouldn't be on the Wii... the Wii already killed a potentially good sequel. I planned to perhaps buy a Wii just for ToS2, but when I watched a walkthrough I decided there was nothing I liked about it. The voice actors were gone, the graphics had improved in quality but not in style, and I'll spare you all my thoughts on the story and the new characters.

If it gets a prequel, it ought to be on a Playstation type. Or on the DS, granted it could handle it.

  • @LeanceHP

The console itself didn't kill it. The console performed adequately. Anything you didn't like about the game was because the developers skimped out on stuff, like a proper overworld. Tales of Graces for the Wii looks pretty kickass in comparison. The DS can handle Tales game (there's already three and a half) but they weren't in full 3D. The 3DS might do better, though.

  • @Yueryuu True that, but I have yet to see a Wii game that's good. Really, I just don't like the Wii. It's Nintendo's little moneycow, which they milk at whatever situation they can. Same for ToS2. It's sad that Namco went along with that somehow... O.o

From what I've seen of the DS Tales games they're enjoyable. But somewhat simple. Namco really would have to buff their current systems and engines if they were going to make a DS adaption of a ToS game, that's worth playing to me :3

  • Chills man........

  • They really need to put Tales Of Symphonia on PSP with extra features of the PS2 version and even more extras AND localized. Come on, this is the best game in the Tales series, give it some credit. Who's with me?:)

  • @SasukeUchiha7233 Don't want to be a downer, but I see where your're coming from. I'd love to see more voiced scenes in the game, but then it would have the Cup of Tea cast. I don't hate the voices, but the Gamecube version was the purist one to me, and redoing the first game with the new cast would just make me miss the old cast more. It's sort of similar to the two different American dubs of DBZ. Sorry for being soo negative! (Scot Menvele, Jenifer Hale, and Crispan Freeman rule!)

  • @SasukeUchiha7233 PSP? Are you kidding me? They should put it on freaking 3DS.

  • @KitsuneRyuuka 3DS? Are you kidding me? They should put it on freaking NGP.

  • @finalefate what is ngp?

  • @pauldiamont95 ngp=nintendo got pwn,lol jk ngp=psp2

  • @finalefate I stand by what I said. xDD;;

Both ToS games are on Nintendo consoles originally, discluding the PS2 port. It would be fitting to put it on the 3DS. |D

  • @KitsuneRyuuka i respect your opinion and i just saw an article your comment was perfect timming,i keep reading how the nintendo 3ds can hurt your eyes, cause strain,or eventually blind you..and if your playing 3d mode you need to take a break every 30 minutes for 15 minutes..and seeing how this is like the main sell of point kinda made me go from i might buy it to let others buy it and see what happends

  • @SasukeUchiha7233 or, yknow, a good console!

  • Oooooooh.. I have this game in my PSP but it's title is "Tales of the World Radiant Mythology"..

  • This sounds so much better than the soshite boku hiroic version

  • One of the greatest games ever made, but so is all the games in the Tales of series. Here's my top 5 list: (From worst to best) 5. Tales of Legendia Format: PS2 4. Tales of Phantasia Format: SNES/PS/GBA 3. Tales of Vesperia Format: Xbox 360 2. Tales of the Abyss Format: PS2 1. Tales of Symphonia Format: Gamecube/PS2
  • @dobadobadooo ]\

tales of phantasia(jap version) was great on the Snes but on the remake it sucked ass slow moving chars etc. lame voices etc. etc.

  • I shall you the power of weakness....

    Indignationjudgment

    Genis is the best

  • @hinterdiristdertod

    "I'll show you your powerlessness!

    ... Indignation Judgement!!"

    And yes it is awesome.

  • HAHA loved this game genis FTW Indignation xD!

  • @Ambidexify pffff indignation jugment FTFW!!!! (for the fuckin win!!)

  • By far,the best tales game they have ever made, second in place is Vesperia..I vought this game a second time just to enjoy it again.10/10

  • where can i download that tales of symmphonia is GREAT

  • uhh... just curious, when i downloaded this song it was spelled "heroic" version. Just wondering.

  • Probably translation issues or differences (Hiroic might be the official word to denote this version).

  • yeah.. i guess.

but i don't know why American always change a lot of things in games, or even anines. no offense to anyone.

  • @tj4real

Lol either the person who uploaded this video spelled it wrong.. or your download spelled it wrong.. or they're both wrong. Or they can be both right with just two different ways of spelling it. :) but I believe the spelling is "hiroic"

  • LOL, i think that complicated things. XD

well, whatever, what's important is the content. whatever the name is, as long as they sound the same, then it's good enough for me! XP

  • @tj4real

:D alrighty then.. whatever suits you best. :)

  • Maravillosa!!!!! es absolutamente sublime!:)

  • This song rocks !!

  • Can u give me the Download Link please?

  • a prequel with Mithos as the main character would be a very good idea because that game would be basically the first Tales of Symphonia but with different characters.

  • dude you should make the games

  • Excellent !

Only in the JAP version I guess !

  • lol Collette has the strongest skill in the game ... The toss hammer!

  • @gnahzdivad Pow Hammer...

  • nope toss hammer =)

its a hidden technique that occurs randomly after using pow hammer 200 times

while using pow hammer u have a chance that it will get toss hammer which is green instead of red and poisons the enemy

  • oh yeah lol i have to play this game again it was so fun and cool but my favorite was tales of phantasia

  • tales of symphonia is my favorite game:3 i hope they make a prequel about with mithos as main character

  • YES! that would be EPIC!!!

  • wtf?

  • he has but is too thin to be seen by normal eye (you need an eye that has been exposed to tv or computer waves long enought)

  • what im hoping for is a prequel that is about mithos's story and how he saves the world and it will be wii and ds hopefully

  • and ps3 would be nice bcz of the great graphics

  • That make no sense(in japan) since symphonia is also on ps2, and vesperia is released on ps3...

  • yeah i forgot bout vesperia, still, those two games was released on other consoles later because of the high demand, and i suppose, like symphonia, vesperia will only be released in japan. but myself am not entirly sure about that.

  • @drijan9 it wasn´t because of a high demand.. they both (GC symphonia and 360 Vesperia) did pretty astrocious/bad in japan, so to make more cash of it, they ported it to the PS3 (with a lot of extra events, costumes, etc so Sony accept the "enchanced port") and, like Symphonia it did pretty well by today tales standars (440 K + for now, RM2 has do 400K+ and it was released in january, ToV in September)

  • GC symphonia did bad but not 360 vesperia. vesperia even made the xbox 360 sold out. they made a port of vesperia to get more money (it was planned before 360 vesperia was even released)

  • @JiiniasuSeiji uh no, vesperia did bad in japan, 150 K in one week is bad (though by today tales standards...), they developed for the 360 so they could create a new engine with less cost, then ported it to the ps3 to make the "real" game (which sell 140+ K in one day, now is in like 450+K which is really nice for today tales games)and had to add a lot cause of Sony politic...and yes.. they in part did it to get more money, they need it more than never now... >_>

  • @holykirby95 I DARE TOS TO GO THAT FAR!

    Tripple doggy dare even!!!

  • @holykirby95 I hope (if they reaeally want to make one SOMEDAY) it'll be for DS, because if it'll be for Wii my bro won't let me play it.... T_T (he owns our Wii) but if it'll be for DS I won't let HIM play it^^ (me owns our DS)

  • @holykirby95

    Yes.

And it shall be called "Tales of Symphonia: Dusk of the Old World."

  • @FaIlenLeaf That name is funny and yet makes sense. Genius XD

  • @blueringedumbreon

    Thanks. xD

But the Japanese version was "Knight of Ratatosk", so theirs might be something like... "Hero of Aselia".

  • @blueringedumbreon

Genis: Did someone say my name?

  • @holykirby95

    I would buy both versions~

  • @holykirby95

Actually Kratos as main character would be better...

  • I just luv this song, it reminds me when I played FlyFF and Fiesta Online, I used to dance on Fiesta Online with this song.

Thanks, that you posted this one T-T(this song is touching for me)....

  • Colette is actually a really good character to use. But Colette is much more advanced to use. She is one of very strange to use but is actually a very nice character to use especially with EX Skills: Health theif and Spirit Theif. She can steal life from enemies per hit. The more hits, the more life and TP you get back. Try getting all of her skills and experiment with them. You might be suprised.

  • Lol It's Cool~ When I looked at the picture for a second I thought "Why is Regal holding collet's Wepong?!? o.o" Then I realized he was just holding his hand's up..Like alway's XD

  • No-one ever said ANYTHING about ToS3. If your a true tales fan, you'll find out somehow. For now I'm sure Bamco isnt worrying about ToS3, and there most likely wont be a third one.

  • might be TOW:2 though for psp,I hear they have coming/already out in Japan

  • lol i dont think a true ToS fan would call namco "bamco"

  • I called it bamco because I didnt want to deal with someone saying "IT'S BANDAI" if I said namco.

  • dont say that! there could always be another tales of symphonia game we sisnt expect dawn of the new world did we but we got it so theres still hope for a tales of symphonioa 3

  • It wasnt announced yet so no kone knows.

  • They opened it up at the end of 2 that there easily could be a third, depending on the ending.

Lloyd states that he wont say goodbye to emil, because they would see eachother again, and emil does get out of the gate, so he can live the rest of his human life, who knows what could be in that life?

  • i know im playing the game right now

  • Another sequel isn't likely. Maybe a prequel featuring the Kharlan War, but all games in the Tales series need to be put to rest someday.

  • i know but the series is still awesome

  • I haven't heard this one. Which is weird, since I've played the game a million times 0o Maybe I have and I've just forgotten....

    Nice song though.

  • i think this is only in the Japanese version

  • i dont think its in the version we played, it says its before the last pronyma battle but i remember the music being a different version of the opening song
