I could not agree more about the carbs and protein. Carbs ARE the devil! I have been trying to follow the 10:1 ratio and it works! I'm not nearly as hungry when I eat that way! AND there are some great recipes out there withing that range. I just bought a slow cooker magazine "BH&G Skinny Slow Cooker Recipes" and it has quite a few recipes in that range that you can do on a busy schedule and working!!! Wendy, I absolutely love your videos. I started watch you on YouTube about 2 years ago when I went through the lap band process. I ended up getting denied by my insurance and became very discouraged. But ever so often I'd search your name on YouTube to see how your progress was going and WOW you continue to amaze me. So, with that said.. I'm headed back to my lap band office and starting the process again. I'm about 95% sure I will qualify now. So fingers crossed! Anyway, like many of your subs

we need cards for energy it;s just that we,particularly, Americans consume too many in a day. It would be fine if we were training for a Marathon, but unfortunately the only Marathon many of us participate in is from the fridge to the sofa! lol
