very talented girl. Sounds better on the upbeat tunes than the slow ones. Voice gets alittle strained and shrill on certain notes. And i agree that she'll find her own voice and style as time goes by. Just hope she'll remain focussed and not veer off the track as she grows up like so many talented child stars e.g. charlotte church. Showbiz is no place for a child, actually, hope she has got a supportive family and a sensible head on her shoulders.

I don't know: re, the vocal-copying, everyone copies at the beginning of their career. But there's a creepy feeling about this: a bit of child porn?, getting a child to act like an adult. It's wrong to have a pubescent girl who has had no experience of life singing about grown up things, so the end result is false/faux/unreal. And art should be real. She's not only covering the song. There's no problem in that and it's a good homage. But copying scats... that's horrible because in a scat you're suposed to proove your ability to improvise, your knowledge about music and how a great musician you are by showing what you can create. But if you cannot create anything new and you only copy things that other people created then we're better off without your scats (that aren't really yours). Do you know what scat is?
