Filipinos don't speak spanish simply because spaniards did not teach them to speak. But the influence of the spaniards in the Philippines are very obvious and it still practice most of the filipinos.Christianity and some religious traditions .......The southern part of the Philippines they speak ungrammatical spanish.
even though the philippines is under the spanish colonialism for over 300 years..the filipino people doesnt want to be ruled or colonialize by other countries.that why we had hundred of heroes that we look up to for they were the ones who defend the philippines from colonialism.(though some culture are derived from other's spanish or chinese perhap) but we do wants to havee originality and that what filipino's are proud of.
hi. very good observation. we actually have very good spanish speakers here in the country but after spanish colonization we were colonized by the US. medium of education and basically everything was done in english. but we do have a region down south of the country who still practice spanish nowadays- Zamboanga. :D

i don't think nakuwangan ang sinanduloy karn nga year sa ila concept. in fact, theirs
is very nice and is very sinulog-based. it's just that the people are lured with the colorful props that some of the contingents in the sinulog-based have for their routine. but if we talk about storyline and execution of the dance, this group just stands out from the rest. the concept is a researched-based one that talks about the playfulness of the sto. niño and how sinulog reached the cebuano shore.

i don't think nakuwangan ang sinanduloy karn nga year sa ila concept. in fact, theirs
is very nice and is very sinulog-based. it's just that the people are lured with the colorful props that some of the contingents in the sinulog-based have for their routine. but if we talk about storyline and execution of the dance, this group just stands out from the rest. the concept is a researched-based one that talks about the playfulness of the sto. niño and how sinulog reached the cebuano shore.

congratz still to u guys. though u settled as 2nd placer but you wowed me and the people as well with your disciplined movements. i'm not trying to make mountain out molehills but you guys are one of the reason why i crave for sinulog every year. as an amateur choreographer, i learned a lot from you. but the thing i like you guys the most is that you still keep your feet on the ground inspite of the huge success you achieved the past years and that is truly remarkable. amazing!!!!!!!!!!

there's nothing new sa concept sa tangub this year, infact, they've done that before way back 2002 or 2003 ba to nga naa silay train2x, it's just the same, but not same props..
i was not schocked of what i've seen in the complex, though, i was dimay, kay gamay ra ang ni upload sa tangub.
anyways, congrats sa alcoy, the first contigent performer gahapon sa butang nga well applauded , then next ang carmen (FI)

i saw the over-all performance sa tangub.. but based sa mga reaction sa tawo karon nga year, wala nila na meet ang expectation sa mga tawo, ingon pa man ang tangub nga they have surprises/ and something new pero mura ra gihapon og wala.. mura silag walay energy and some of the palpak scene.. maong wala nako na shock nga 2nd ra ron ang tangub... I am not biased here

napildi namo ang SINANDULOY pag 2004. actually, kami ra man pud ang katigi2x sa tangub since 2002 onwards. pero karon lang jud nga year wala niapil ang sinulog for the preparation this 2009 (new dancers, new concepts, costumes, and new trainor)

FYI, we are supposed to be first... one of the sinulog foundation told us about it , but base sa among mga rules nga nalabag, they have to minus our points ( left the props, did some recorded message and overtime)...
kung crowd favorite ang basehan, kami og ang basakanon maoy gi pakpakan jud,, try to watch the video katong actual jud nga ritual (not this one) wa jud kay madungog nga pakpak sa tangub..

ahhh gipasabot ninyo nga ang cebu nagpakita ug favoritism... ????/ dili oi...mismo ang sinulog committee ang nag arrange ana kung asa sila ibutang.... ug gipaningkamutan na nila nga dili moabot ug gabii...pero unsaon ta man nga moabot man jud..... dili tah ka blame sa tangub.....

dont worry! wala nami nilukat ug ticket nga Monday so no reason nami muona ug perform ug ma 2nd man gani me kay Tuesday na mi tig ulian since 2005. Atong 2004 it happen nga ang back and front nga ticket Monday ang nka schedule. Normal sa contest nag mudaug ug mapildi, ug normal nga masakitan labina ug wala ka ma use ug pildi since 2000 until 2007 except 2004 kay napildi mi sa PROPS! Dili dancer amo kontra ato nga contest PROPS ra. Mahulog nga ang PROPS maoy dancers then ang dancers maoy PROPS
