radcliff wants to show he can act and the theatre wants some big bucks, so everyone won. I really dont like the idea that ppl went just because of him and not the play itself. although, i hope that they got to know it thanks to him....

A lot of people got to know the play and Peter Shaffer's work thanks to Dan. And a lot of people became interested in theatre thanks to him too. Dan is a very talented actor so he deserved the opportunity to do theatre like anyone else, just because he is famous it doesn't mean he didn't deserve the opportunity. Maybe if you would have seen the play you'd understand. :)

Also, Peter Shaffer didn't let them do Eqqus until they would find the perfect actor to play Alan Strang. When he saw Daniel playing the character he said Dan was perfect for it. If he wouldn't have thought that, Shaffer wouldn't have sold them the rights, like he didn't let them during all these years.

wow! i think its pretty cool that dan is soo muture about it and not acting crazy over all the mula his got know! i love dan and i think his sooo cute but i would honestly say that i would go to this play just to really see how great it is there soo many good reviews! i want to see it but for all the good reasons.
