Loan Modifications are just another scam, I had emergency major surgery contacted my bank 4 months before I knew I would have financial problems, was offered a 5 month hardship deferment, filed, was told not to make payments, didn't, waited 4 months then was denied and told I was in foreclosure, had to borrow to bring my payments current, but my credit was destroyed and had to pay fees, they I hired an attorney did loan mod and was still denied-Sovereign Bank
