Moe Bandy is a great guy. I've heard since I was 14. the first song I still hear nowadays is YESTERDAY ONCE MORE. I love it. God bless all those real country singers.
I worked in radio in the early-mid 80's and even though I was mainly rock'n'roll I loved this song and when I worked at a country station it was one of the tunes where I'd crank up the control room monitors to max. Back then we were still spinning vinyl and doing everything live. Working morning drive at a small station meant I was all alone from 5 til 8 or so and a cup of coffee, and Someday Soon was a great way to start a day.
this is pretty much a time capsule the rodeo riders were more rangy and world weary. not sayin the newbies aint tough either way it will age you fast. my favorite version of the tune thanks moe
@bptaylor11 Thanx to my trusty Billboard book of country songs, from '44-'05, it lists the songwriters. 'Someday soon' was written by Canadian, Ian Tyson. God bless!
We have the old 45 from the early 80s, but I have no way to listen to it.
This song has been coming to mind a lot lately, especially the line about loving "these danged old rodeos as much I love her," so it was especially nice to find it online.

If all may remember, Suzzy Boggus also recorded this in the early 1990's.

Don't think this is the chart busting record, but it's still GREAT!

Hit #21 in Billboard, 5-8-82. Is this Moe's original recordin' of it, or a remake? Let me know. God bless!

@DaveWollenberg Judy Collins sang this song in 1969. Not sure who wrote it.

@DaveWollenberg I like Moe Bandy's version way better. I'm not a huge country fan but I love this song.

Moe Bandy does traditional country music. I've seen him in Branson & his shows are terrific! We need more entertainers like him.
