  • Where did you get that black bumper insert, not the letters, but the bar below that?

  • @CarbineGuy The site I got the vinyl insert from years ago no longer exists. However, I redid it about a year ago and had my local paint shop paint it on there for $75 and it looks a lot better.

  • what did you use for your taillights?

  • @SVTpowerr The tint shop I go to has a professional spray. They used 5-6 coats per taillight/3rd brake light

  • I think you should keep the Headers & O/R H-Pipe & do a Flowmaster Cat-Back. It'll sound better IMO...

  • @159002 The O/R H makes the car sound really raspy and Flowmasters will make it sound like every other Mustang out there. I like the sound of Magnapacks better than any other exhaust setup I've heard and pairing them with the O/R X is a great combination. To each his own.

  • I was thinking about getting an all black mustang but this looks way better. Nice car bro

  • @hester800 I want an all black Mustang. That'll be my next one for sure! I was skeptical about the white at first but it turned out great with all the black accents. Thanks!

  • how can i make my mustang sound exactlylike yours? message me back please! thank you!!!

  • @watersoaked94 BBK Long Tube Headers, BBK offroad H pipe, Magnapack catback exhaust, JLT Ram Air Intake, Accufab 70mm throttle body and plenum and Ford Racing Intake Manifold and you should be set!

  • This really reminds me of my friends ford mustang gt, same year, same paint scheme and same exhaust setup.

  • @J3zzMeister very nice, although I doubt he has quite as many black accents as me. There's not too much more I could do black without repainting a lot of the car :)

  • I'm torn between H pipe and X pipe. This video help solidify my choice of a catted x pipe. I'm currently running a Bassani cat back.

  • @PFDLOANS

ARGH! I meant to say that this video solidified my choice to an H PIPE!

  • @PFDLOANS Did you check out my other videos of my X pipe? (My personal opinion after having both for extended time periods, is that I prefer the X)

  • @PFDLOANS i just went with the bbk catted h pipe with my bbk long tubes sounds amazing. got an 01 cobra

  • @PFDLOANS Check out my catted X pipe video that I put up recently

  • how did you make your tail lights black?

  • @grimraper1 I used 6 coats of a transparent black spray. People also use transparent vinyl or plastic covers.

  • My friend is getting full exhaust bbk longtube headers. off road H pipe and slp loudmouth 2 headers. Did you get alot of power difference. and people been telling me we need a tune after the full exhaust? thanks for the help. Sweet Stang BTW

  • @Alan735 Is he going from a stock exhaust setup to the full exhaust? the SLP Loudmoith mufflers are pretty similar to my Magnapacks so I bet the results will be similar. When I put on my catback with stock headers and mid pipe, I felt that it was probably 10 whp gain. The headers and mid pipe added another 15 whp and 20 wtq. You don't NEED a tune but it is recommended to maximize the power gain and be the most efficient on gas. You'll probably see another 10 whp after the tune and 1-2 mpg gain

  • damn i wish i had that ride

  • @ChIcAnO2111 :)

  • Did you paint that part of your bumber black or is it vinyl? Thanks alot. Nice ride man..!

  • In this video it's vinyl, but I now have it painted black.

  • I have bbk long tubes and o/r h pipe . they do sound badass. sweet ride

  • my fav sound yoo nice car bro

  • fuckin baddass sound bro

  • Thanks a lot

  • Just how loud is this?

  • haha pretty loud. It's a straight pipe setup so you can only imagine... :)

  • KURTTTT!

  • HUNTERRRR!

  • i need help...should i get the bbk headers with high-flow catted x-pipe or bbk headers with the borla x-pipe? by the way i only have the magnaflow mufflers (bot the magnapacks) on with stock everything else. the only thing i have aftermarket is a herst shifter and CAI

  • I don't know anything about the Borla X pipe but I'm sure they are fairly similar. If you're going with the BBK headers I would say go with the BBK midpipe so that it matches up evenly when you bolt it up.

  • are shorties quieter than longtubes ? is there a difference in power

  • Longtubes have much better flow and aren't as restrictive. As a result, they are louder and make more power. The power is +/-5hp and tq difference based on the comparisons and research I've done.

  • Very nice. Look at my Stang dude. I have a Pacesetter O/R H-pipe Flowmaster 40 Originals. I wanna put BBK Shorties on it though. I wish I could put LTs on it but because its a vert.

  • I'll check it out in a bit when I'm out of class. Why can't you put LTs on it?

  • Because my car is a convertible. It has that thicker cross member that the long tubes can't get around.

  • oooo... well you can get an aftermarket one that's thinner, lighter, and stronger and put on the LTs then! haha

  • HA!!.....maybe :)

  • yea you can put LT headers on a vert... who told you that you couldn't lol thats retarded

  • sounds great thats a sweet mustang man. i just put bbk long tubes on my 89 GT, it's SOOOO LOUD. i haven't installed my BBK O/R H pipe yet, i'm waiting til i get my cat back system, did mufflers quiet yours down much? i ordered some super 44's but i'm afraid it will still be too loud, the neighbor called the police the first time i started it..

  • Thanks. Are you running just open headers right now?? haha. I like my X better than my H. I actually had my Magnapacks before I got headers but I have taken it off a few times. Even the straight through mufflers will quiet down an open header exhaust pretty well. It will be loud but it will be a lot more refined. My neighbors are pretty cool about it.. they don't call the cops. But this one neighbor stops whatever he's doing and gives me the evil eye when I drive by lol

  • lol thats awesome i've got a few neighbors like that. but yeah i'm running open headers. so do you think an H pipe, and flow master super 44's will quiet it down some? i cant even hear my radio now lol. I got the H pipe because i head it gives a little more deep rumble sound than an X pipe

  • I get EVERYONE looking at me when I'm running open headers. If you put on the H pipe right now, it will sound a little bit more refined but still loud as hell. The mufflers will help out a lot tho (it's still gonna be loud). I can't hear my radio with open headers either haha. I got the H for the same reason but I got bored with my exhaust and I decided to get an X to see how it sounds and I like it better. The H had too much rasp for me and the X still sounds pretty deep/rumbly

  • the x pipe sounds really nice with the super 44s

  • is it strait pipes or does it have mufflers, if so then what kind

  • Straight pipes refers to no cats and straight-through type mufflers (and yes, my set up is straight pipes). The Magnapacks are the type of mufflers and they are straight-through. Magnaflow makes 2 different types of mufflers, the Magnaflow (legal) muffler and the Magnapack (louder than legal) muffer.

  • Nice =]

  • hey man where did you buy that bottom piece thats black for your bumper? i been wanting to do that to mine! and how much rwhp did you get from the headers and o/r x? i have magnaflow exhaust right now on my 04 gt lookin to get bbk long tube headers and a bbk offroad x

  • It's called a rear valence blackout, just google that and you'll find a couple results. I gained 11.5rwhp and about 8.5rwtq. Not too much, I was expecting a bit more. Do you have regular mangaflow exhaust or magnaflow magnapacks?

  • i really dont know. i went to this place that fixes up alot of my friends cars and said get me the sickest catback you can find that sounds like a performance exhaust and he just told me magnaflow but it sounds exactly like magnapacks. its a 2.5 going into 3.5 tips if that helps figuring if its magnaflow or magnapacks

  • Magnapacks sound a lot like Borla Stingers!! A beautiful sound!

  • Yeah, they're a straight through muffler as well. Thanks man. This is my old exhaust setup though. You should check out my other 2 videos with the X pipe on. I think it sounds soo much cleaner and less raspy

  • Thats sounds great. NIce stang man!

  • 2,666 views.. beastly haha

  • Ya post a new one! I wana hear that stang. I gotta post a new one also with the longtubes and o/r x-pipe I got!

    Just gotta find the time!

  • If you got the check enigne light on.

Get "mil eliminators" They plug into your last two o2 sensors. It stops the code from being thrown.

    Good sound !!

  • I do have the MILs but they didn't seem to work. Doesn't matter anymore for me though since I have the XCal3. Thanks for the comment! I'll be posting up a video of my new X pipe soon

  • really i got my cats removed also i have a bbk offroad xpipe with flowmasters and its been over 500 miles and still no light

  • Yeah, for about 200 miles I was fine and then the CEL came on and I checked it with my OBD II scanner and it said that it was due to improper readings to the 2nd catalytic convertors. I had planned on getting the XCal3 tuner anyways so it's not like I spent $380 just to get rid of the CEL. I got about 11whp and 15whp torque with the tuner and a lot better gas mileage as well

  • Very nice! Question: since it's O/R, do you have a 'Check Engine' light showing all the time? I've heard, since the sensor is after the cat, there will be a problem with the car's computer.

  • Yes, due to the removal of the catalytic converters, the check engine light did come on. Even with the MIL eliminators (which supposedly fool the computer into thinking that everything is fine, I still had the CEL. I then ordered the XCal3 tuner with a custom tune for the O/R exhaust and it disables the rear O2 sensors and now I don't have a CEL anymore. It's a lot nicer without that light there, even though I knew what that light was for.

  • Yea thats what I thought. How much is the Xcal? Thanks for the replay

  • I got the XCal for $379.99 from American Muscle. You can't find it anywhere cheaper, it's always the same price. But I went with AM because they offer a free custom tune. What you do is buy the XCal, then tell them what mods you have on your car and they can create a custom tune for you which is really nice

  • what brand is the O/R H-pipe

  • BBK

  • so is that the shorty midpipe?

if so did it bolt up to the magnapacks no problem?

  • Yes it's the shorty midpipe. Initially, when I put it up next to the headers, it seemed like either the headers were too far apart or the midpipe wasn't quite wide enough, but it is actually meant to stretch a little bit sideways to meet the headers and form a tight fitment. As far as bolting it up to the catback, you just have to bolt it up and readjust the tips to your liking. Easy deal.

  • thanx i'd prolly have a shop do it

    i'd mess something up

  • I actually just got the BBK X pipe a few days ago and bolted it on in a couple hours with just a jack and 2 jackstands. It was pretty easy to do. I'm planning on taking a couple videos of my X pipe and posting them up here as well.

  • awesome

cant wait to see the video and hear the beast

  • =) It's definitely smoother and less raspy than the H so not qutie as loud but still pretty loud haha

  • really? i didnt notice any raspyness with the H in both videos you have

  • It's not as pronounced while standing still and revving but when put under load it does get raspy. In the other video, when I start accelerating, you can hear it go from loud to REALLY loud and thats the raspy part. It can't all be captured on a video camera =\. Give me a few days and I'll post up a video of the X and see if you can see a difference between the two. I'll try to get the same types of videos for comparison purposes.

  • oh ok =/ i was going to go with the same setup when i get my swap done on my car im going from a 1998 3.8 and swapping engines with a 99-04 4.6 mustang gt and i really like the sound does it still sound good with the raspyness or is it pretty bad?

man cant wait till u get that video up i'm looking forward to it keep up the good work

  • even with the raspyness it still sounds pretty good to me

  • oh yeah.. that's loud.
