its not about heavy weights. its all about progression ... the best way to lift is by starting small.. with proper form. .. when you get the form right.. you slowly progress every week ... to get stronger. Workout in a variety of ways with proper form and workout the entire body once every week. if you are getting stronger week by week.. you are doing it right. if you hit a plateau then its time to change up your workout style
I can't speak for the said science about it but I disagree. I was able to reduce body fat and gain a good amount of muscle mass doing much cardio and resistance training. The end result was weighing more and having good muscle definition in the end. If you leave cardio out of the equation then how do you build endurance? or help your health? In fact results were better than when I did a year of strict heavy resistance in the past. Everyone is different though.
ahhhh this coming from a guy who can't even peddle on a bike for a few minutes, common mate lift your game, dont be posting tip video's when your not big, i'm not trying to bring you down but less talk more action, I hope your hitting the steak and starchy carbs hard and doing deadlifts and squats, Vince probably has structured that in, good luck with it, i see you posted this video a while ago, are you significantly bigger now?
4 sets of 8 reps - heavy weight ( a weight which should be pretty tough to complete on your last set) and then the important part......switch to a lower weight and blast out reps to failure. Try and adopt this technique to almost every excercise you do. Pain lasts seconds, glory lasts a lifetime.
eat plenty of carbs, protein and always take a shake to the gym for post workout nutrition during the 1 hour window. Added to this get adequate rest.
bro u give shitty advice. learn form tempo time under contraction and different aspects.

first of all ur moving too much ! ( i mean come on even a beginner would know that !)
second if u do it the right way you'd probably get tired much more . so you would have to do at least 6 - 8 reps !
Third do 6-8 reps heavy wieghts that you can handle doing 6-8 reps and do 3-4 sets !
WHY ?!
because ur doing less reps which means more sets !
don't forget to take 30 sec-90sec of rest !
wish you gd luck !
