Here's the thing. Lesko has been around for a long time which means he runs a successful business. And the only businesses that can be defined as successful are the ones that provide a quality product to customers. ..So the question I'm asking is "Is it really possible for Lesko to be a sleazy scammer and at the same time enjoy renown and success?" I mean, I would think people and the media would report this guy if he was no good. So I think I'm gonna give Lesko a try & ignore trolling haters.

A 2004 report by the New York State Consumer Protection Board claimed that most of the grants mentioned in Lesko's books were actually public assistance programs that many people were not eligible for, and that Lesko misrepresented examples of people who had taken advantage of government programs.
