  • how horable to cut upa early model

  • I agree. I bought it all cut up.

  • good cars and good vidios,

  • Thanks!

  • Good work man.

    5/5*

  • Thanx

  • NICE!!! do good work. But 1 thing hate to criticize but, get rid of the scotchlocks solder the wires together and put some heatshrink tubing over the splices.mire reliable and looks better too.Rock on dude :-))))

  • I always thought I would take the time and solder the connections later but haven't gotten around to it yet. You know how it goes. I am also thinking of changing to inline fuses inside the fuse box instead of the stock VW fuse block. (I'm afraid of a pill fuse popping out on one of those fun off road ventures)

  • NIce Work Man. I Love it.

  • It was fun to make.

  • Where did you get that Benzin stickers??!?

I want to put it on my VW!

    thxx

  • Reflective Boat Lettering from Home Depot.

  • I would like to see a Video of it! : )

  • Don`t worry, im gonna do a video of it. But first i need to work in my 71 engine.

I just buy it, so i have millions things to do first eheheh

    btw, sry my bad english.

  • There are always millions of things to do to a Volkswagen. When you think you are completly done, you find something else to do you haven't thought of before.

  • great idea, very inspiring

  • Hey, I'm all about improvising.... if it works, it works!

(Of course, what do you do when you need some first aid now??)

  • Oh, man, never thought of that. I better build a first aid kit now. LOL

  • Hey hope to see more...thanks..nice job.I use to work on pools ...that kinda reminds me of the conduit and outdoor boxes we used.

  • Thats Cool Bro! Creative!

  • Thanks!

  • Dude you have way to much time on your hans to be labeling that stuff!!!! Kick ass Stewart Warner Gas Heater......

  • It was fun! : )

  • Clean, clean, clean... so nice and orderly, everything labeled... and clean... me = jealous. :)

I'm working on my '68 right now behind the dash, and it's a mess. I mean I look at it and I get a headache. What I'd love to do is something like what you did - collectify everything nicely and send it all to a junction box or something. I want a cool old metal box from WWII for this project but haven't found anything yet that I like.

    Btw... kickass soundtrack!

  • I also color coded all the wires from bumper to bumper and made my own wiring diagram based on a 64 bug but with the colors coded on the diagram I made. I have 2 grounding blocks. one in the box and one by the engine, and both go directly to the battery ground.

  • cool!

  • yep good idea, but you know there a song called benzin from rammstien :P

ok but what did it mean on the box??? ih kannicht forstein...

goood job, keep the bug alive dude!!!

  • wow, neat. It really cleaned up the trunk!

  • Sicherungskasten is German for Fuse Box,

and Benzin is German for Gasoline

  • and бензин is russian for benzin or gasoline :P

    thx for translating : )

  • Nice!

  • shiny

  • Very clean!

    Ramstein rocks as well

  • Great job, I was wondering what to do with the wiring in the Rat Rod I am building to make it look a little neater, now I know what to do, thanks for the idea.

    Jack

  • I would like to see a video of your new Fuse Box when you make one.

  • awesome, its awesome work in the vw , it`s the best car...

  • I have to agree, Volkswagens are the best cars and busses and things and well, lets just say vehicles.

  • that`s all, i like it, just the best vehicles...

  • Respect dude, great job.

  • Thanks!

  • very clean wiring job with sturdy rubber tube for protection. Great job wish you would rewire mine for me.

  • Thats Houshold NonMetalic Flex Tubing that I used. It's made for wiring and had the fittings I needed to attach it to the metal box. I also pulled my own wires from the front to the back. That tubing is one tube all the way back to the engine compartment. It's about 15 feet long.

  • so much work on your fuse box,my red BAJA does not even have a fuse box,it`s been that way for over 30 years, does your gas heater work?,I had one in a BAJA and it ruled.

  • When I bought this bug it was running without fuses. All the wires were just twisted together. That is why I rewired the entire bug from end to end. I haven't had a chance to have the heater referbished yet though.
