mm ok nice, becuause i'm really struggling to think to buy a go pro 2 or a simple ti2 canon (not the d60 to amazing and dont have the money). because i know the go pro would be cool for my surfing vids, or snowboarding even some longboarding, but is it really worth, becasue then i hink a nice reflex, which has nice clear and sharp images, which you an focus ans much more.
I am not really sure, i hope you can help me as i see you have both (what would you do, what you like ans use more) THANKS
@FactoriSkateboards Well I could recommend both =D The GoPro is really good for surfing and snowboarding videos, because you don't have to worry if it gets wet or if you drop it and it's really practical. But if you want to have higher quality videos and more options and possibilities in filming, then maybe the Canon 550D would be a good choice. But then you obviously can't let water or snow touch the camera.
@FactoriSkateboards I attached the GoPro to the black stand that it was attached to in the package. Then I taped the stand to the board --> the GoPro was filming upside down so I turned the image 180 degrees in the editing. Easy, yes, secure, not that much =D But some little scratches on the housing are not that terrible.
