I knew a M.U.S.C.L.E. man who could beat EVERYONE in the ring! Blurry memory but he was a red one and had a "ghost" head I believe. (?) Kind of stocky and a little shorter. You put him in and he'd would NEVER come off of the thing that holds him! I used to bet money with neighborhood kids that I would win matches and I won every time! I'd tell them to pick a guy and they'd always pick some "glamourous" looking one and then I'd pick the "dumb" looking one and win!
I never got the belt but I had everything else associated with M.U.S.C.L.E. and AWA Remco and I even had some weird knockoff wrestling toys they would sell at the grocery store
The original anime series should've came to America, cause if there's a toy line and game series based off it, you need to put the series that it was created from into English, if so.
The 80's was the real entertainment scene after 95 evrything turned to junk more kids are wising up but come on we need a revival these kids today never saw it they should remake all these things for kids
I used to carry my M.U.S.C.L.E.S. around in my Windbreaker. Anyone remember those Windbreaker jackets? I still find them little muscle men around my yard these days.
The rarest one was a hand that had long finger nails called Devils hand respectively, it was also the only one not to be released in the USA until gumball machines started having them in it.
@AtticusRh0des the claw is not the rarest figure, there was several other muscle figures such as Satan Cross and Black Hole Sunshine who are exteremly rare
These things never appealed to me at all but my friend had a bunch, including the championship belt. We used the belt for our own wrestling league and passed it back and forth.
Chriiiist I remember this commercial. I had so many of these things, I can't even remember how many times I spent my lunch money (and took other kids lunch money) buying and selling these.
toys from the 80s were so basic but so great. i feel sorry that kids nowadays dont have any good action figures. they dont have any good cartoons either.
Yeah, these were absolute faves! I remember finding one in the part as a kid with a missing arm but I cherished it! Not long after I got a flesh 10 pack and late I got a colored 28 pack! They were cheap enough for my parents to buy, great play value and they never broke! One of the best toys of the 80's!
These were my favorite toys in the world. I think at one point I had about 400 of them, but now I think there's like maybe 245 or so, I don't remember. I remember burying alot of them in my backyard and blowing some up, but they were the coolest toys ever. I got alot of multicolored ones, like blue, green, purple red. I even got some in the plastic garbage can the colored ones came in. They were the coolest toys ever.
Wow, I wish I had a collection like that - used to have a bunch as a kid but threw them all out.. There were 239 odd of them and they all had names - it was based on a Japanese anime called "Kinnikuman" or something like that.. I'm going to start collecting again soon I think, I'd love to have them all!

@182supermario
Be glad they didn't try to make their own version of Kinnikuman, It probably would have been like this
Muscleman vs the monster lord Bonesman and Walter the golem.

@FarangBalls Yeah, there's a reason why kids today just play video games all day >>
Dragonrider1227 1 year ago
@FarangBalls That's utter bullshit. Plenty of cartoons these days are fine--and the 1980s had some real stinkers, as well.
Fawful5 6 months ago
@Fawful5 Are you saying that 80s cartoons such as Turbo Teen were bad? thats nonsense!
FarangBalls 6 months ago
@FarangBalls I do think 80's had the best toys out of any decade. Basic but imaginative!
