There is a major bug in the MHS-PM1 firmware.
The "LowLight" and "Backlight" settings are mislabeled. They are switched.
If you have a MHS-PM1and you want to film in low light use the "Backlight" setting. If you want to film where there is bright light, use the "LowLight" setting.

it would probably do well -- this was shot in very dark conditions with no overhead light. in good lighting conditions, it performed well. one key thing: the mic is really sensitive, which means it would pick up people talking around you as well as anyone bumping into the camera pretty loudly. if possible, i'd jack into the soundboard for the audio track, then overdub it later.

You can get a webbie fairly cheap on ebay for no more than $100-150. It's a pretty good deal but is this camera really that bad in low light?
The Webbie has an Aperture of 3.3 versus the others such as the ZX1 and ZI8 that have an Aperture of 2.8. I understand the webbie isn't made for low light but it has a nice looking Lens. The Lens looks so much bigger than the other pocket cams out there. The microphone also looks nice even though it can only record in mono.
