It means do not ask questions that would not benefit you and would only lead someone astray, the reason why this verse was revealed to the prophet was beacuse some men were asking the prophet questions like : do we have to make pilgrimage to Mecca every year? if the prophet said yes then it becomes obligatory and people would leave the faith because they can't do it.

Yes it's every one's right to ask questions and investigate, we as muslims are obligated to investigate our faith and not follow it blindly. The verse you have been referring to before to claim that it teaches us to follow our faith blindly was not meant to be interprted like that. I believe I have explained that for you. Why don't you read the interpretation of various scholars about this verse to see why it was revealed instead of telling you about it?
