  • High dosages of diphenhydramine do the same thing. Delirium is not fun at all.

  • Datura, no thanks. Shruuumz, yes please!

  • lol, I like how the background for this one is dark and gloomy, perfect way of describingf datura.

  • This is how I came to be arrested, from the time of taking it to a guy holding my arm asking what I was doing on his property and saying he had called the police there was nothing, total blank. The cops didnt know I was tripping they just thought I was nuts (luckily) they let me go after calling my mum, doh! Poor mum : )

  • I came out the "other-side" in one piece, my vision was blurred for a couple of days after and I was pretty spaced-out. I felt no fear or anxiety on the trip, even when getting arrested, which would normally have freaked me out. I fully hallucinated that my friend and my girlfriend where with me for most of the trip and I was having involved conversations with them. I was lucky, I easily could have died, I blacked out for about half an hour, but I had been walking the entire time.

  • I didnt have a minder (I was 18 at the time), So I went walkabout and my friend who also took Datura with me wasnt concerned because he was having a good old chat with me back at his pad, which when he straightened up, turned out to be a pile of dirty clothes on a chair, doh!

My earned wisdom to anyone thinking about taking Datura is - You might initially be the one who takes it, but then quite quickly IT takes you. I wrote a short story about my experience and called it 'Datura Does Paul'

  • I was smoking imaginary cigarettes in the back of a cop car after being arrested while on Datura. I thought to myself hey this cops pretty cool letting me smoke in the car, then I went to flick the butt and.......doh!

But it didnt stop me having another one 5 minutes later!

  • this weed is a right away for some american indans it can kill you however just the same it's a native american thing the white man has real say on it we where here first and know the rightaway...

  • Their is Brugmansia, or Tree Datura as well.

Brugmansia is a small to mid-size tree with large, strong-smelling, trumpet-shaped flowers hanging downward. Most parts of the plant contain atropine, scopolamine and hyoscyamine. It has been used as an admixture plant in ayahuasca brews as well as in poisons and medicines in S. America. - Erowid

  • your so boring and every thing u have to say allready can be found in books or erowid, all the people that say your hot probably cant see you behind there coke bottle glasses that u look so great in, u should definitely hook up with these people because i know that your not being overwhelmed by guys hitting on you in your daily life, u like hallucinogens because you try to give them to guys hoping that they hallucinate so much that u start to look a hot babe

  • azzahighkite1 - Your a dumbass just log off your account, you've probably never even experienced any psychedelic mind altering trip anyway. And don't criticize people for wanting to embark on psychedelic journeys within their mind. Psychedelic entheogens are the key to understanding this world and our Universe.

  • this is a right of passage for native indians i have went thru all this if you want to do it know what you are doing you won't have affects like she says , you can die and plan on not holding food for 2 weeks after ...

  • definitely not for recreation. very few americans can see the value in this entheogen. the disappearing cigarette, rolling an invisible joint, the invisible holes in the ground that your back leg keeps falling into are some of the most common things that happen to me & my friends that i've prepared it for. the trip itself though is not in my opinion worth the amusing things that happen.

  • I drank 3 full coffee flasks of this. Needless to say that I was left wandering parellel universes for what seemed to last forever. This is scary stuff. i faced all my demons at once on this and not sure Ive ever been the same since.

  • "deliriant" is now a common classification of hallucinogen-

nowadays they're usually classified as psychedelic, dissociative, or deliriant. my aunt has purple datura in her yard- thinking about any tropane alkaloid trip scares the pants off of me.

  • Smoking fake/invisible cigarettes is common among people that take Datura

  • @ROOR20002 what about for people who have never smoked cigarettes?

  • @xTommyGirlx I'm not sure, since the only people I've seen under the influence of Jimson Weed were all chronic cigarette smokers. If I had to guess, I would say if a person has NEVER smoked a cigarette then they probably wouldn't do that, since part of the addiction to cigarettes also involves the fact that you are constantly bringing a cigarette to your mouth because that is how they are smoked. It is like a needle fixation but with cigarettes. Sorry for the extremely late reply. Peace.

  • This girl must have done all hallucinogens possible...

  • yea, she must know so much about the world, far more than we could ever know...

  • Much better back drop!

  • You are so very beautiful! The connection between my Anahata and Manipura becomes so apparent when I see you.

  • HAAA I FUCKED A HAMPER THINKING IT WAS A DOG.

THINKING BACK NOW I DONT KNOW WHY I WANTED TO FUCK A DOG ANYWAY

    HAAAAAAAAA

    hells bells is fucking scary.

  • @decastronaut you must be a redneck !

  • is the angle trumpet flower a datura plant?

  • Is it just me or does this girl look like the female version of Napoleon Dynamite? lol, No disrespect or anything... Her voice is so trembly, Some of those "trips" must of really affected her physche, Whether in a good way for her or not, She just sounds scared of something, I admire spirituality but is going over the top with Psychedelic drugs really the only way to obtain that feeling??

  • Diphenhydramine is the only delieriant that I ever touched, and I never want to do that again, it sucks!

  • If you are going to use it as an ally, please have a sitter and someone well versed in the datura practice. Otherwise, they are excellent plants to put in the garden, the bugs LOVE them and pretty much stay away from the rest of the garden, in combination with some nicotiana rustica, I have yet to see any nibbles on any of the other plants. And make sure you ask the shaman, whats in that cigarette before taking a puff, you may be surprised how many medicine workers 'casually' smoke Datura.

  • also have heard that they wick up heavy metals from the soil as well, great plant if ya know how to use it

  • I've had only good experiances to report on datura made in a tea. The worst affect I could say for me was an overly dry mouth and high body temp. Phantom cigarettes I would say are the strangest thing it has caused me to experiance. Its one of few substances where I generally am always in a calm state despite my tendancy for panic on most everything else these days.

  • "... in the case of tropane alkaloid-containing Solanaceae plants, we think it is important to note that an overwhelming majority of those who describe to us their use of Datura (and to a lesser extent, Belladonna, Brugmansia and Brunfelsia) find their experiences extremely mentally and physically unpleasant and not infrequently physically dangerous.

-Erowid dosage page for Datura (and related plants)

  • Beautiful setting, Neurosoup! Really impressive!

  • soldiers from england cooked an salad from this pant. they got a trip of 11days!!

and in the end of this trip they remember nothing!

thats too strange, you got the knowing for this

  • i read that english soldiers cooked a salad from datura, and they got a trip of

    11 days!

as the trip was over they remember nothing!

that´s not for me,...for that stuff you need people who got the knowing with these pants.

  • Carlos Casteneda used the root.....boil th eleaves...or smoke th edried white flowers

the alkaloid was used to dilate the pupils

  • Black seeds in a thick spiky green pod ..... ?+- 4cm long from spike to spike ?

  • Theres a plant known as Malpitte in South Africa (not sure if thats its scientific name) In Afrikaans it means Mad Pips ..but perhaps co incidence.. Its supposed to give u a three day fucked up hallucinogenic trip .. it grows all over the place but very few people bother to try it ..delliriant perhaps ...heard of it ?

  • hell no! datura sucks man i found a big ass plant growing on the side of the road and made some tea with the seeds and i was sick for like a week. i felt like i always had to throw up

  • fucking piece of shit datura, fucking fucker fuck fuck, i dont have any words to describe that shit plant, i've ate some seeds with a friend at 4 in the morning, then we got bored and went to sleep, but i couldnt close an eye after 20 minutes, and my friend was moving like he was a wounded dog, then i start feeling like when i had fever only worse, i felt like shit. my entire body hurted and kept doing that all day. my friend told me he felt the same only he could see very well. shit plant fuck

  • Theres a book called occult medicine and plant magic by a gnostic magician Samael Aun weor, its a good book . you can be found in pdf.

Ive known of a guy who killed someones child then held his own to the moon. he killed himself by climbing on a building and jumping off.

  • wow, crazy guy

  • i actually grow this plant , they grow easily where i am from. some people call it Devil's bells. or Bells of death.

    V...

  • Datura was a monster in a Japanese monster film

  • too dangerous.

  • Wait wait wait. You took 600mg of DMT, melted it with butter and shot up analy, but you wont try datura?

The trip you described of dmt has got to be far heavier then a small dose of stramonium.

I've spent countless hours reading peoples Jimson trips on erowid.

And nothing in a minute dose can hold a candle to what you described in the DMT trip.

I'm too catious to try this being that I am diabetic

However, cheers to you for the very informative video, I support you guys all the way!

  • I think the best reason NOT to do it is that the a psychoactive dose isn't that much lower than an overdose. Whereas tryptamines have either very high LD50's, or unknown LD50's.

  • ive seen this plant before.

  • iv tripped datura before -- bazzar experiance at best. i would say it is dangerous because on acid, its like " my cat just got huge and turned orange...im trippin" but on datura its like "my cat just got huge and turned orange... ok thats perfectly natural." on most halucinagens you see tracers, auras, brething. on datura a mans head will turn into a cup and a stagecoach will go down the road.

  • datura isnt a controlled substance? thats american government for you

  • Yeah I hate datura, i ate two fresh pods whole, my friend ended up a mile away with no pants on doing sit-ups in a field and he had already pissed himself, later, i broke his nose because he tapped me on my shoulder, the hole night is a blur blank i took my clothes off because i thought they were my uncles, and i also had the

"ghost cigarette" and even a ghost joint apparently my friends later told me. Datura is horrible in my opinion and i wont do it ever again.

  • One fact that was missed in both presentation and comments is that Datura was traditionaly used only topically, mixed with oil or lard or put in water to bathe in. The oil prep. was applied to the genitalia of both men and woman. Belladonna was diluted with water and dropped in the eyes. (Beware open cuts). With controlled dilution a prescription for back pain.

  • very interesting

  • That's like Hells' Bell right?

  • I think Salivia Divinorum is a sort of delerium - not a real hallucinogen. I've done it a few times but I think i'm done with it. Just not enjoyable or beneficial.

  • hmm that's interesting, I kind of feel the same way.

  • Comment removed

  • It's actually similar to drugs like Ketamine, DXM, PCP, and the Fly Agaric (Amanita Muscaria) mushrooms in that it puts you in a (dissociative state)

  • no, not really. While deliriants are strictly a subclass of the dissociatives, they are a special class and the pharmachologies and effects are quite different. The classic dissociatives you mentioned, PCP, Ketamine, etc. act as NMDA receptor antagonists. Deliriants act as muscurinic acetycholine receptor antagonists. Completely different region of the brain. Sry for the jargon, just trying to demonstrate why they should be treated separatley.

  • stop spreading false information please...

  • ah i was actually responding to a comment about salvia

the guy said that he thought salvia was a deleriant like datura but i said its actually a dissociative drug

  • You couldn't compare it to a true deliriant

  • i agree

  • to me salvia resembles an extremely intense LSD trip

  • you can try the flowers and smoke them

  • Lol i wonder how many times this lady has dropped acid? i mean she was like friends with the kings of acid

  • true. some people take tabs, she must have had tubs !

  • Datura is very dangerous. The effective dose is so close to the fatal dose that it is all to easy to overdose.

  • Sounds like there's definitely no upside to this one.

  • they also use atropine for an anti-Nuclear, Biological, and chemical agent...this stuff is just bad shit period. Also, the you background for this video is really trippy and thus it makes it really hard to concentrate ;-) BWAHHHHHH!!!!! lol!

  • Man Krystal will you ever do anything on shrooms? It's like you cover every psychedelic and non-psychedelic hallucinogen but you never seem to talk about mushrooms. It's getting kinda annoying, lol.....because it's one of my favorite psychedelics and probably the most popular psychedelic after lsd. It would be great to hear about some of your experiences, but I guess you don't like the magic mushies all that much eh?

  • Neuro Soup is dealing with groups of Hallucinogens...Ethnogenics....fungi have different chemical activities

  • she's done so many videos on everything else that theres not mushroom for much more

    xD

  • Da dun chishhh

  • I was thinking of smoking datura or belladona. I have heard this works and mixing it with cannabis also works. At this point that would be the most I would go with those delirient plants, if ever at all.

  • Really the word hallucinogen refers to the family of psychedelics (LSD, Psilocybin, DMT etc), dissociates (PCP, DXM, Ketamine) and deleriants like Datura and Belladonna.

  • i want to be your friend :)

i am not taking ACID anymore:(

  • I HATE Datura..ugh horrible.

  • I thought it was traditionally classified as a poison?

  • It's essentially both.

  • I have had an experience with brugmansia (long trumpet flowers), which has the same effects as the datura. I infused two flowers into tea and to my surprise I was tripping for about 7 hours. Luckely I had a sitter who took care of me. Basically I was seeing cars on the road that were not there, I was talking to cups of water as they were people i knew and all this time I had a super dry mouth and felt like my head was expanding constantly. It is not very enjoyable and very risky.. Beware

  • You're awesome:)

  • I would never eat this stuff

  • Datura would be "hallucinogen proper". They produce hallucinations in the classical sense. I.E. eating dirt wads and thinking there briskets. Opposed to a distortion in reality and thinking. I would say that it is still safer than K or pcp.

  • I keep a bouquet of dried Datura flowers in my room.

    Blind as a bat,

    Red as a beet,

    Dry as a bone,

    Hot as a hare,

    Mad as a hatter

  • I would never try this shit

  • i had heard of it but have had absolutely no experience with it... thanks for the heads on this sacred plant. i have no interest experimenting with this...

    peace2U

  • Many of those alkaloids are used for IBS medication

  • great videos, keep it up gorgeous

  • fuck that datura sounds like no fun.

  • The deliriants are much more closely related to nerve gas then they are to true psychedelics. In fact they are actually nerve gas antidotes (atropine being the most effective). BZ (code named: agent buzz; 3-quinuclidinyl benzilate), the world's most powerful mind altering drug, which is a product of the MK experiments, happens to be one of them.

  • As an informative addition to this page, I tried Datura once a long time ago when I was first learning about ethnobotany. I consumed roughly 15 seeds, 1 leaf and 1 flower orally. This was incredibly foolish, for the safe dose is much lower than that. 2 hours after ingestion, while riding my bike, my mouth got dryer than dry. It hurt it was so dry. My body felt like it was expanding and I was extremely dizzy. Lasted about 2 hours. Try Datura at low doses first!!

  • awesome!

  • i heard this stuff gives really bad trips.

it makes you think that your in hell and being attacked by demons

  • Datura sounds good for people wishing to give up smoking

love the backdrop, looks like your halo has slipped down

  • are you a white witch ?

  • her vids are honestly soo helpful wiith drugs

  • It is classified as a delerient, not a hallucinogen.

  • a deleriant is considered to be a TRUE hallucinogen

  • Yeah, her terminology is somewhat different. Hallucinations just means sensing something that isn't there...and in that sense deleriants are the true hallucinogen. With psychedelics you can distinguish between what is real and what isn't because they are just sensory distortions. You really hallucinate on datura, since you can't tell the difference often times between what is real and what isn't. So in some ways, depending on terminology, psychedelics aren't necessarily true hallucinogens.

  • yea

  • "Hallucinations just means sensing something that isn't there"

Actually, certain psychedelic substances may be increasing your sensitivity to things that are in fact 'there' but which you are normally oblivious to because they lie outside your range of perception.

  • I agree.

  • For instance, if you look at a photograph of a family member, there is actually more information present than what your eyes reveal. Consider that every memory association you have with them is also present, it's just that you're not normally conscious of this information because visual sensory stimulus tends to take precedence over memory associations.

  • no one should ever use datura.

  • It is legal

But i can't understand how can everyone eat that.

    Its about the scopolamine??

  • i dont understand anything.... but i like watching your videos anyways XD keep making them!!!
