  • non e bella melodia! non mi piace ascoltare

  • @Bojenja Die melodie war damals sehr modisch! Und Sophia ist bellisima forever!!!

  • Bellisima e ha anche una bellisima voce :)

  • What does this mean in english?? Its so lovely, and Im teaching myself italian via the music, I'd love an accurate translation.

  • @Conspiracy969

don't try to teach yourself Itaian from this song, as it isn't proper Itaian at all, but Napolitean dialect.

I myself unfortunately don't know either enough Itaian, nor this dialect to translate it for you, but maybe soon some Italian person may be able to help you.

  • @alifefullofmusic but Neapolitans call this a language not a dialect.

  • @martpast1

whatever they call it, I would still not advice anyone to try teaching themselves Italian from it, as it isn't proper Italian.

  • @alifefullofmusic i tried XD

  • @spmela

Hi, and thanks for your reply, but I don't understand it. What is XD, and what did you try it for?

    Have a lovely day!

  • @unavitadellamusica you wrote this to someone who asked a translation of the song: "I myself unfortunately don't know either enough Italian, nor this dialect to translate it for you, but maybe soon some Italian person may be able to help you."....so...i'm the one who tried XD

  • @spmela

yes, now I can see that you are the one who translated the song into Italian as well as into English. thank you very much, but I still don't know what "XD" stands for. Are those the initials of your name? Grazie ancora!

  • @unavitadellamusica XD it's a smiley...X is used to simulate eyes like those of the south park characters and D it's a smiling mouth. You need to turn the smiley of 90° to see it.

  • @spmela

Thank you very much for your explaination, I really appreciate it. I never knew this before. Thanks again!

  • @Conspiracy969 I can try even if i don't speak the napolitan dialect. In "proper italian" the text would be: Felicità, tu mi sai dare quando mi baci. Mi fai sognar, mi fai restare con gli occhi chiusi. Nelle vene, a poco a poco, mi sale il benessere, mi sale il fuoco, m'abbandono, non resisto più. Felicità, tu mi sai dare quando mi baci, mi fai sognar, mi fai restar con gli occhi chiusi. E io dico ancora sì, fa quello che vuoi tu, perché l'amore mio sei solamente tu.

  • @Conspiracy969 in english it would be: Happiness, you know how to give me it when you kiss me [or "you make me happy when you kiss me]. You make me dream, you make me stay with my eyes closed. In my veins, little by little, i feel great, a fire burns in me [this is not the literal translation...i can't think of an equivalent sentence...i'm sorry], i abandon myself (let myself go), i can't resist anymore.

  • @Conspiracy969 second part: Happiness, you know how to give me when you kiss me [as before, "you make me happy when you kiss me], you make me dream, you make me stay whit my eyes closes. And I say yes again, do what you want, because my Love is only you [or you are my only love].

  • lei é una vera diva!

  • A lovely voice, and a lovely compliment to the beautiful Sophia Loren! Creamy and inviting.

  • This is proof that the DIVA can sing and has a pleasant, sulky voice. Thanks.
