I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps fuel inj. and tank clean and rustfree

Super nice car! My dad has an 84 533i. He just rebuilt engine and tranny. Now he's looking for bumpers for it. So are these e34 bumpers, and if not what model? Do you have any instructions on how you went about fabricating/modifying and fitting bumpers? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!

What do you mean with the indicators? They are in the right place. RPM on the right. Spedo on the left. All E28 are like this.

fascinating how well the noise isolation works... In my e28 I can drive with open windows, and the sub at a high volume, and no policeman will ever stop me.... Amazing ^^
