And to clarify to everyone: Celtic is NOT just Irish and/or Scottish. It's Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Cornish, Manx, Breton, Galician, and English (yes, England's people are of primarily Celtic genetic background but have been Germanicised).

@noisybeetle the song is about a woman who fell in love with a boatman (fear a bhata in scottish gaelic) and now she is lamenting on how she will never see him again and how when she asks the other boatmen if they have seen him they call her foolish for ever falling in love with him, what isnt so widely known is that shortly after composing this song her and him married...
