This might sound crazy but I was so sad and so beat up over the break up I couldn't go to the final show. I regret it immensely but, at the time it made perfect sense. I couldn't handle having seen them for what I truly believe was the last time.

why did they break up?

a # of reasons... the hard haul of the road, families/kids, money, hopes to finish school, a change, etc. it wasn't really a bitter affair, just time for transition. there are a bunch of active projects including members - hawks and doves, git some, ghost buffalo. look for these groups on myspace, none sound like planes... but nobody else really did anyway. thanks for your interest...

These guys are originally from my hometown of Peoria, Illinois. I used to put shows on for these cats. I can remember hearing their first record before it even came out. Or them going to Goodwill and buying a bunch of cheap shirts and then writing their band name on them and selling them. Rock n roll at its finest. I love you guys.

Yeah no doubt. I love these guys. Their new record should be the shiznit. I put this vid up hoping to get a bit more exposure for the fellows. I couldn't find spring divorce to put up though....
