Piercing: Transverse Lobe through flesh tunnel

i want to get one, but it looks painful when a needle is going through your ear slowly, is it? im only 15 so im a pussy and cant take pain, but ive pierced my ear normally and shoved a 14gage in my 18gage hole which hurt nicely, would it hurt more or less?
