  • MOCHA pro is the best tracking software trust me for flat footage :D

  • After Effects it's not ideal tracking soft try other 3d tracking softs its make look bater :)

  • The tree killed the first one for me. I think it would of been really good if the tree flowed.

  • Nice, so how did you get this to work?

  • FUCK! YOU! DIE OF CANCER YOU PIECE OF SHIT! I THOUGHT THIS WAS PORN!

  • Wow that was brilliant!!!!!

  • were did you get these birds?

  • @freddy2t I created them in After Effects

  • tutorial please....

  • Can I have her phone number?

  • very nice work brother.... :)

  • wow wow wow!

  • it's drifting...

  • it looks great!

  • Terrible motion tracking

  • definealy good but a slight fade out is shown between horizon. really great

  • I realize that this was uploaded probably over 3 years ago, but it's AMAZING! Do you think you could do a tutorial on how you did this? I would REALLY love to know how to do this!

  • Excellent work.

  • Nice !!!

  • so hey, where did you get the birds from?

  • i prefer the first version

  • @NeverMind353 me to

  • rotoscoping?

  • omfg fake!

  • nice ^^

    but bad tracking :(

  • the tracking is not perfect on the second one, but the built blends into the scene really well

  • Awesome! 10!!!!!!!!!!

    youtube.com/watch?v=AYQplSZVxis

  • Great job

  • Very nice!! Good test!!

  • I think next time lock down your camera, the less you have to move the better. it has a nice surreal feeling to it, dream like or other world like. good job

  • ur result 2 looks a lil fake..

  • cool

  • плохо выполнена стыковка реального и виртуального изображений...

  • Wait where is the green screen or am i missing something here.

  • Awesome

  • rele good

  • watch out you're running towards a wall !!!

  • it could be really cool. jus tthe motion tracking wasnt that great in the last clip. i hate when that happens it like the most annoying thing lol

  • @theHUNTERvideos Ive noticed that in quite a few vids. I had the same problems with my tracking until I read up more on resolutions. Turns out, if you change the resolution of your videos at certain stages of process you can easily scale the tracking just off enough to throw the stability. e.g., Raw video is tracked at 640x480 but thrown into 3dsmax for object placement at 800x600, skewing the alignment.

  • good try

  • FAIL...

  • ni1ce

  • Great job!!! :-D

  • I'm wondering why everyone does such nice work but it ends up looking like shit once it's uploaded to YouTube.

  • @TheSpiritWeasel this particular matte painting was "meh , the colour grading um.. im not feeling it

  • Very good.

  • Wow. Easily amused audience. Color and shadow matching is important in compositing. Neither of which existed here.

  • Nice job! I like it.. Some constructive critisism.. (sorry my english is rusty) You need to work more with the tracking, you can tell its not 100% yet. Also, the castle. With that nice backlight you should get some long nice shadows infront of the castle. Keep it up!

  • Cool:) How do you do it?

  • first one's great, but it looked like the castle was hovering xP

  • Incredible! how do yo do this!? please teach us! xD

  • final result reloaded 2 returns

  • great work! that looks realllllly realistic

  • I think the first result was better than the other one because it looks more detailed and more realistic. The castle is shaking a bit and looks a little bit deplaced. No critic, just hints... of course a good idea!

  • only if you used a tripod it would of been waaay more convincing. But great job though.

  • the castle was moving, shaking.

  • this is baaaad matte painting!!!

  • ohh, you put me a down? Why don't you check my track in my channel?. The castle was, indeed, sliding.

  • On the parts where her head hits the skyline did you rotoscope or did you key out the sky?

  • I Rotoscoped the head. You can see it is not very well done.

  • nice!

  • Good work! The castle at the end was a little shaky though :P

  • Pretty good! I liked that you used a rather low-res, shaky footage. It makes it a lot more challenging matching the movement as well as the picture quality. It goes against the expectation of clean and often superficial look of CG shots.

I would think that the tree in the first reel could have less contrast since it is placed far distant in the background (atmospheric perspective.) Human eyes are far more perceptive to inconsistencies in contrast than most people think, and that's the challenge

  • Good point BTW.

  • that's so great, awesome!

  • Andrew Kramer!!

Great man keep the good work!

  • Your matte slips a lot.

  • This was good, but the castle at the end kind of looked a little fake. Try bluring the edges on the bootom and color corect it a little so it's not to sharp :)

  • Excellent !

  • nice! which camera tracking program did you use?

  • Adobe After Effects

  • @felixio2007 Why did you not use Mocha for the Motion tracking?? It would be perfect with mocha.

  • great work man!!!

  • the chick walking was hot forget the compositing. lmao

  • Excellent.....man I've been practicing this type of work...I wish we had more classes on this ....

  • ojojojojojojojojoj !! you are goood

  • excellent work

  • badass!

  • that was sick
