awesome...thanks for the upload. They have a few of them coming up in July of this year from Wallops....can I ask where you parked to get this close? Did you just park at the visitor center and can see this? Thanks for any info....I'd like to take my kids if it isn't too difficult.
You can certainly watch the launches at the visitors center. Many people do, and I hear it is you get a pretty good view from there. But I am afraid you wont get this close without a NASA ID badge. I helped build a part of the payload for this particular launch as a student project and was given the opportunity to watch from about 150 yards out.
Also Orbital sciences will be launching a Taurus II rocket from Wallops sometimes this fall. I think it will be the largest rocket ever launched from there. I am planning to head down to watch that launch from the visitors center.
