I agree with most of what you say especially about getting a big time defensive coordinator...Maybe Mike will comeback. Venables needs to go he's been an embarrassment since USC. Landry Jones sucks; worst decision maker ever! Huepel has done much better than Wilson or did you forget Missouri last year? Heupel lost Whaley and Broyles & OSU dialed up some defense against Landry, who was the most protected QB in college football with 3-4 sacks. Go pay big bucks for LSU's defensive coordinator!

Heupel is in over his head. And obviously, Venables is too which we've known for several years.

@mevans1182 I totally agree about Venables, but not Huepel, who lost his biggest players with Whaley and Broyles out, and something happened to the offensive line. They have kept Jones from getting sacked all year. But OSU figured something out. And Jones...he sucks and makes terrible choices!

@ettiesgirl Heupel does not get creative with the offense, he just calls plays by the seat of his pants. That offense was not in good form even when they have broyles and Whaley, its just that those 2 players were that good they bailed out the offense. Not Landry fault Heupel does not set up a good game plan for his players to execute

@okcboi Well I guess we disagree on Huepel, but I totally agree with you on Venables! I agree we should really aggressively go after the best defensive coordinator out there and reward him well. OU will never win another championship until there defense is fixed.
