Opel is better. Ran a 8:34 at nurburgring, while the S2000 ran a 8:38. Opel is faster than a 944 Carrera, S2000 got beat by the VW Golf.....

The vx in the vid has turbo wheels but doesn't neccassarilly mean it is a turbo. In a drag race the vx would win so may be it's standard.

Also, this shit about the s2000 not havi g any torque at low revs is bollocks, I've owned both the ap1 and ap2 versions and both have more than enough torque low down. The vx is good fun but that's it, I need more from a car than just that. Most of the people making comments on here have obviously never owned either car. Both great cars but for different reasons, but the s2000 is the daddy

In have both cars, the s2000 is the better car easily. The vx is faster and has better handling but that's it, it has a shit interior, a manual roof, sounds shit, the s2000 looks better, sounds awesome, is fast, much better quality interior, has more spec, the vx is a track car, not the very day driver.

@cheatingwanker the sound of a car can always change. and if you have ever driven cars as old as I own, you would think the interior and manual roof was high class. My old MG had a manual roof and I loved it, I would take the Opel Speedster over a honda anyday. I cant stand honda. every poser mommas boy owns one and they all think they are fast.. mostly the hatchbacks.

@cheatingwanker Well, here in the states it must be different. But every numb scull here buys a stupid honda CRX or Civic and puts a 6" exhaust tip on it and suddenly its the fastest car in the world. but hondas dont have low end torque, the engines are designed to have a high end everything, but they cant handle very much upgrades without upgrading the block or heads because high RPMS are unstable. I been buildin cars for 12 years, trust me lol

@50desoto1 i dont doubt your mechanical knowledge, as for the civic and crx there not in the same league as the s2000.my last car was the vx220 turbo .very fast and yeah faster than the s2000 however i prefer my s2000,i like the fact that the power comes in later in the rev range,if i want economy i just keep the revs low,and theres plenty of torque to drive around town.when i want the the performance ive got a nice big rev range to use acccompanied by an amazing v-tech sound.vx is a track car

@cheatingwanker Thats exactly why I want one lol I plan on moving to EU to race and need a track car lol. But those people with the CRX and the Civic are giving honda a horrible reputation, and killing the cars appeal to me.

@50desoto1if you do get one, make sure you get it remapped(stage 1) as the vx turbos have a flat spot at about 4000 revs.the remap gets rid of the flat spot and gives a stronger torque curve.225 bhp

Even if that VX wasn't a turbo, it would still have more bhp per tonne than the S2k, possibly explains why he had it from the start, I don't know many statistics about the Vauxhall..

Από τα νούμερα και μόνο θα δούμε ότι το Speedster θα βγει μπροστά στην εκκίνηση και θα κρατηθεί εκεί για μερικά δευτερόλεπτα αλλά όταν όμως τα κοντέρ αρχήσουν να κατεβαίνουν σε τελικές τότε είμαι σίγουρος ότι το S2000 θα φύγει πολύ μπροστά!
