Oh hai! Have you seen the ebook Public Speaking for Frankenstein ? I got some incredible techniques from it and afterwards gave a presentation without trouble.
Best way to overcome Public speaking is to practice your presentation/speech. Practice makes perfect and gives you confidence. Once you're confident, you wont be as afraid. I go to a business school and i have to give presentations all the time. Yeah i'm nervous, but so is everybody else but after a while it gets easier. Practice your speech as if you're presenting it in real life! it'll make you sound better, make look more prepared, etc. Remember to look at the audience.
@frostgothic Yeah I guess people are afraid of being judged..but now Ive overcame my fear of public speaking :) The trick is simple. Just don't care about what others think of you. YOU judged them instead.
There are some actually good tips here. I've been searching for other ways to overcome fear of public speaking and found a free report on this website. Its pretty cool. Check it out. I dont think Youtube allows me to post links so i'll have to show it to you in this format:
@uNiQuE2301 I heard the reason so many people have this irrational fear is because of the importance of public speaking throughout history. Its like, if you are in a tribe or you are meeting another tribe or for some reason joining a tribe, if you say the wrong thing you might be cast out of the tribe or just straight up killed. I hate it, no matter how much i try to rationalise it, i still get nervous.
@uNiQuE2301 well people are put in a postion where many people will know them, they get stressed and become fearfull of others knowing them and have future relationships affected. Over time without much socail contact the fear gets worst. Best advice is to do something your good at in front of people, and stop careing about what they think. Know they they will be scared as well if put in your position, so why should you. Hope it helps.

I wish they talked more about what this course did, like what kind of things it taught you and how it taught you. It sounds really interesting
