i only did well the knife edge after a long time of pratice. I usually reach the maximum speed and then i turn the aircraft as quickly as i can i then i come back to the original position and i almost crashthe plane!!!! While you're doing the knife edge the plane starts falling.. we gotta be careful with that!!!!

I beat the Red Bull Mission in three minutes, the knife edge gates are the most difficult! I also beat the Flower Power Mission too, and the Gliding Competitions! Flying planes are pretty easy after a while! : )

Remember to experiment with the settings...I was in the same situation with you, started at 6-7FPS but after much experimenting I got 20FPS and I don't even have a dual-core processor, bearing in mind that I am getting a new graphics card that will boost performance...

thanks for the tip but this game wont get better on my 448 memory of ram, intel cerelon M CPU 520 @1.60GHz computer. im laying fs2004 instead. it has way better FPS that FSX. I might buy a more powerful computer to play that game:)

I own FS9 and won't switch to FSX unless I have a more massive sys to run it on (I only have a HT P4 3.0, 9800Pro, 1GB DDR2 dual). FS9 runs smooth but near heavy scenery the FR drops around 15, makes it diff. to land a 737.

You can learn to fly in a basic way in about 10 minutes if you are a quick learner.. But to get better at it, it would take practice. You don't need to know all commands to learn to fly in a basic way.
