Muchnick makes some valid points. The performers aren't independent contractors. That was true back when there were places to make a living as a wrestler across the country 50 years ago sure, but not today. So to that effect, WWE has to take some culpability in how wrestlers end up. Unfortunately in this hyperlitigious climate of 2011, if you assume some culpability that allows vipers to weasel in and tear you apart, which is just as bad in my opinion. It's an ugly but necessary hot mess.
Irvin Muchnick= most ignorant bottom feeding sack of crap that has ever walked this Earth, message to Muchnick: stop busting a nut on your gi-joes and get a real life
Muschnik is going under the assumption that they all worked for McMahon at the time of their deaths - which is untrue. Guererro, Owen Hart, Benoit and brian Pillman are the only ones I can think of who died while working for the WWE directly. While there much to not particularly about about Vince specifically, people are old enought o make their own decisions about they choose to live their lives.
@stevedrums WWE is the worst at it tho, and WWE is the biggest company, thats why he is putting alot of blame on them. Vince is a selfish businessman who doesnt give a damn about anything but makin him money and bein king of the world
@gravedigger396 He is the only company who offers free rehab to ANY wrestler from any promotion. I know Scott hall is currently enrolled under that program. Look, Vince is a lot of things that you and I can agree with. Being the most successful at what he does leaves him open to criticism. However, people are people and are responsbile for their own action, addictions and reactions to those challenges in life. he isn't, never was and shouldn't be.
@gravedigger396 You are making an assumption based n what you THINK rather than what you KNOW. You maybe right, but it doesn't matter. You seem to be one of thsoe who thinks that bosses are responsible for their employees behavior away from the job (or ring) and they aren't. They have the opportunity to clean themselves up at no personal expense to them through McMahon. Again, I think you and I can agree on what we THINK we may know about McMahon, but it doesn't matter.
@stevedrums I am making an assumption based on what most of people involved with wrestling and got out of it said. He shouldnt accept all responsibility, but some. Because he's the guy thats putting them on the road so much and pushing them to have a certain image. And they will do it because they love wrestling. If you dont do it, your screwed, and if you do, it might work out for you and everything go great til you drop dead before 60. He is somewhat responsibly, but i see what your saying
@Geezer9000 Never trust a republican either. A bitch whos got blood on her hands is now tryin to get into the government? hah i hope she fails, we dont need people like that in the government, theres already enough

Sounds like the typical Democrat tactic to discredit a Republican. Never trust a Democrat.
