I'm sorry, but the effect you put on, the... swaying effect, shouldn't be there at all...

The voice itself could do with a little less metallic hollow sound, and a little deeper variations to the tone.

Not bad... a couple of suggestions to try:

1. Don't add the reverb so much - it makes it almost too robotic. Instead, reduce the pitch until you get the correct deep sound. The digital processing to lower the frequencies may give you that slightly metallic sound without adding any additional reverb.

2. Secondly, speak across the mic, not directly at it. It will pick up your voice without the "p" pops.

Have you tried recording using the free program Audacity?

These are actually really good, especially the first one. I've realized that the voice works when it is a bit metallic and robot sounding, as opposed to just being a big low voice. Also, for some reason, Darth Vader has a bit of a British accent (as opposed to Anakin.)

To be honest, I actually can't remember the exact settings.

Now-a-days, I use Adobe Audition for things like this.

The way the voice comes out really depends on the persons actual voice. Also, if you listen to the movie, youll notice that the actual darth vaders voice is much deeper/darker (pun intended :D) than this video for example
