  • you guys haven't heard his other teachings and also what he says in this segment is still very true

  • He's commending Chandler, people. Chill.

  • Uhhhhhh why is this guy giving only a portion of matt's teaching? he only posted part of it just so he can judge the guy. Matt does preach the Gospel, he is exactly the kind of preachers we need, not those prosperity preachers or those who just preach about the love of God but those who also preach of the consequences of choosing to live your life without God! Matt is soo straight talking in this one! praise God!

  • I'm going to take issue with something that Todd Friel implied: that Southern Baptist pastors aren't Gospel-centered preachers. Here are just some SBC pastors that come to mind: Matt Chandler (Village Church- Dallas), Mark Dever (Capitol Hill Baptist Church- Washington D.C.), Russell Moore (Highview Baptist Church- Louisville), Albert Mohler (not technically a Pastor), and so on. I've mentioned those in particular because they have websites that you can go back to and verify.

  • @neacej1 Todd Friel wasn't implying that everyone in the S.B.C. weren't Gospel-centered preachers. He was agreeing with what Matt Chandler was talking about (ie. the hypocrites, fakers, and wolves). He was addressing certain types of people that are southern baptist, and not the Convention as a whole. Those guilty of the things Chandler was talking about are not Gospel-centered preachers.

The men you listed are all gospel centered preachers and real blessing to the Body of Christ.

    Peace

  • Not sure why you guys are getting angry at Todd? He's commending Matt Chandler for speaking like that, not condemning. He agrees with Chandler. In fact, we need more Gospel-centered preachers like Matt Chandler. @MandolinforJesus @zbay777

  • @blakeash2 I'm glad you said this, cause I was like, "pump the brakes kid, that man's a national treasure" LOL

  • So then... apparently we shouldn't address the sin in the church, which Jesus gave a model of how to deal with (aka church discipline) in the Bible? Yeah, that's a great idea. Let's just not care for the flock, only try to get more sheep in it, so that when they get there it can be full of dirty, sinful people to bring them down. This is the dumbest website I've ever heard of.

  • Twisted def. This is stupid!

  • Yeah actually this preacher's message is dead on and scriptural. In fact I don't hear any biblical evidence being supplyed to prove this preacher's message incorrect. What's that guy's name again...Matt Chandler? Good stuff- maybe I should youtube him;)

  • Nobody cares about your wretched radio buddy. I like Matt Chandler, he was one of the first pastors i listened to online that presented the gospel pretty clearly. Quit your hatin buddy, maybe Glenn Beck will hire you.

  • @MandolinforJesus Uh, when Wretched Radio airs Chandler's clips on air, they usual preface it by saying, "and now a word from one of our favorite preachers..." Wretched and Chandler are on the same page 100%.
