Ok This is exactly what i did & didnt do..

I Baought a new PC & it had this software called "Musicmatch Jukebox" it was already pre-installed..

And at that time i had no ipod or itunes, so when i downloaded music from my CD's or Got them from a bittorrent they would automatically download to the software making a copy of them on my hard drive..

The i got an ipod and installed itunes which came with it and it asked me during the install if i'd like to transfer my music to itunes i said yes

Yea, but that is my dillema (Spelling?) I won't use Itunes because it is a spyware program created by Apple. It totally spys on you and everything you do = mass spam wave when you log into email and more. The iPod Classic is made for video too.

Specifically in this case, the iPod Classic 80GB gets a 36/5 hour battery ratio, whereas the iPod Classic 160GB gets 40/7 hours. Think of that before you flame the guy for not having enough music to fill up 160GB.=)
