@Cleo0ful there are two different nutrition plans. The meal plan will tell you exactly what to eat. The portion plan leaves it up to you. I always went with the portion plan. Much more flexible. The foods in this video did not necessarily pertain to any set list of foods in the nutrition plan
Hey there! Have you thought about intellectus diet (do a google search for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some great things about it and my mate lost a ton of weight with it.
For all those who don't understand what all the organic craze is about, its not about taste, or necessarily even about lack of nutrients, Its about what is added to foods found in typical grocery stores, such as additives and growth hormones in meat, and animals that are processed in factories that fall below basic sanitary conditions.
do yourself a favor, get netflix, and go rent a documentary called "Food.inc". It will change the way you look at food.
Hey Ted, I'm guessing you live out here in L.A. since you have all the stuff from trader joes. Is all of this stuff from trader joes? where are you getting everything else? thanks so much
@celloguy23 Hey, yeah I pretty much get everything from trader joes. There are few other things I can't get there, so I just go to a normal grocery store.
There is really no reason to spend the extra money buying "organic" over regular foods. they are nutritionally exactly the same thing. In double blind taste tests people can't even tell them apart by taste either. But i guess if you have the money and buying "organic" makes you 'feel' better, then by all means...
Anyway.. just wanted to let people know you can get the same results without blowing your budget!
@KurNorock I agree to a certain extent. The whole organic thing has gotten blow out of proportion. There are certain fruits and veggies that should definitely be purchased organic if possible. I also prefer organic meats. Just safer, I think. Doesn't effect p90x results of course. More of a personal preference! I wrote a blog about it on my site.
@CoachTedGore - I don't really see how organic is any safer either. But yeah, it is about personal preference i guess. But to that extent, how do you have a personal preference between two identical objects?
Like i said, there is no way to know the difference unless you are told. There isn't even a scientific test or experiment you could run to tell the difference between an organic banana and a regular banana...
Nice vid. I've been eating the Pure Protein bars because of the low sugar count. I usually eat one per day as my mid noon snack or if i'm out and can't eat something healthy. Should I be worried about the 30g surgar in the Promax bars?
@ssdfreak Hey, I have heard of pure protein bars, but the whole sugar alcohols thing kinda weirds me out. While promax bars do have alot of sugar, the protein in them negates the adverse effects of the sugar in the bar, as protein slows stomach digestion. Personally I prefer clif builder bars.

Great tips and it SHOWS people what they need to be buying. Its kind of hard sometimes when you read, or hear. Don't eat eggs, eat egg whites. I was like WTF is egg whites.......good job Ted.
Great Video taught me a lot but Out of curiosity how long does this much food typically last you?
CHICK3NP0TPIE 1 day ago
Hey
Does the P90X tell you that you have tobuy exactly those products? or do you have to improvise?

@arbiterg One thing I forgot to show is smart balance mayo. Use that, or the kraft olive oil mayo. Those are actually GOOD sources of fat.
