quick question: when you're flying a chopper and the missile lock warning comes up, does that mean that someone tracer-darted you and hence use flares right away? or does it mean someone locked on with the 3rd launcher? and how the hell DO you lock on with the 3rd one? i can never get it....

@zhaase20 you dont lock on with the at4, but the missile is guided (meaning you can aim it after firing by moving your mouse/controller). As far as I am aware, you will get the tracking beep when an at4 is close to you, or when you are traced and an rpg/gustav is fired.

I played a match where a guy on the other team had flares and used an apache to be invincible by flying around in circles while also staffing us with missiles so quickly the only way to take it down was by tracing it ( which was extreemely hard) every time we manged to trace it it would just shrug it off with the flares like nothing happened and kept straffing us. probably the closest thing to an exploit of this game.

@DFTOdrummer The flares have a reload timer, so hit it with a secondary tracer fast and you're good to go. Also, shooting down choppers with tanks maingun is effective. But yeah, a skilled chopper team is quite annoying.

@DFTOdrummer orrrrrrrrrr, you could just take cover and dumb fire your RPGs at a strafing (read: predictable) helicopter. Besides, if you watched this video, you'll see that bullets can penetrate the cockpit's canopy, and those were just pistol rounds.

@DFTOdrummer Wasn't their an AA gun you could use? if you hit it before it hits you, you can spin the Apache so it can't get a salvo of rockets at you. If it's conquest then there's one at your base and at Flag B. In rush on Port Valdez Attackers get an AA tank that's also good fun with the warhead spec against infantry ;)

I've never fully flipped a tank with the UAV, but you can lift it up, at least on PS3 you can. Sometimes it causes damage, sometimes it doesn't.

If any helicoptor gets pushed from another vehicle on the top it's gonna explode. i learned this by landing on friendly helicopters in Isla Inocenties. Use the UAV again, but bump the Apache on the bottom instead of hitting it on top.

Here's a myth I've heard: if you place AT-mines directly under a helicopter so that it spawns on them, they can/will detonate when taking off. I call bullshit but it might be worth testing.

Another one I've heard is that if a vehicle is tracer darted, you can remove it by shooting a 40mm smoke grenade on it. In case this works, can it also be done on a blackhawk when it's in air and you're sitting in it (as passanger)?

- The sniper is more accurate while no scoping, with a red dot sight rather than a normal sight.

- You can destroy a boat with a UAV by hitting against it.

- You can get ammo and health from enemies.

- You can turn around when on the back of an ATV when spawning on a team-mate.
