wow, the place near me that sells colecovision games sell them for a dollar (usd) a piece, and they have an average selection... 4 bucks a unit is crazy, when you could just open up a dollar cartage.

i would say solid sky blue, solid sky blue carts...mostly for the c64 always look kickass....hey newcoleco, where can i buy copies of ur games? also, u should try to program a port of the tron arcade game, because as far as i know, there was never one made....

As for the cartridges color, it's too late to vote, but they're very good choices... and actually there is a ColecoVision game released in blue cartridges, a conversion of Penguin Land originally from a MSX game, I think. Look for Collectorvision web site.

I did want to make a Tron-like game and I did draw a Tron title screen, but the project never started.

As for my special project I want to make something as original as possible.

I like the clear or transparent white. :) Transparent Red could be cool too. I guess a lot would have to do with what's on the inside of the case... As in what game! :)

Well, the secret project will be reveal during time, but for now I can say that transparent and black colors are the winner, based on your votes here and in different forums.

I'm making a video to make it more official and to talk a little bit of what is coming next.

1st place - Black and Transparent

3rd place - Gold, Sky Blue and Transparent Sky blue

It's not the final result because there are votes from some forums as well.

How about using the cartridge color to determine manufacture order 1-10 transparent blue, 11-50 trans red, 51-100 trans yellow, 100-200 red, and all the rest black!

the white seems cool, although you cant go wrong with classic black. but if your looking for them to be differnt, go for the seethrough black. it'd give them just enough to look different but yet still classic

I've never seen a transparent colecovision-cartridge before, so I'd go for that one!

I had suggested Gold because I can't really recall any homebrews on any system being in that color.

It is progressing quiet well. I don't want put pressure on me but i hope be able to complete the game for this summer. (it is a big game and i try to reach a professional quality) . then i have to figure out how to put it on cartridge. (I will surely ask you for advices!)

I'd have to say Sky Blue would be the best choice, but I like the green as well. Just don't break the 4.00 mark because the 3.90 colors are just fine.

Green is my favorite so Transparent green would be awesome. That is my vote but I don't expect it to be the popular choice.....
