  • Shoot that looks kinda cramped. Rahhhhh I like Muir for the minimal GED requirements, but the dorms look small, especially triples. Thank you for the video! It was really helpful.

  • how strict are they about partying and like smoking in the dorms?

  • lol. which one of the guys uses a straightener? xD

  • are all guys' rooms like this? holy... hahaha.

  • Hey is UCSD as socially dead as everyone says? I've been accepted there and to UCLA, and I'm a little torn. UCSD was my first choice and I submitted my SIR, but now I'm unsure. The main thing is the social aspect. I'm not looking for keggers or anything, just people that want to hang out and do stuff.

  • im completely torn between those two as well

  • i'm annoyed by some people who rejected UCSD just 'cause of the rumors of no social life. it's up to the person whether they have the initiative to go out and make friends or not. i think those rumors came about because the quarter system is just too fast and midterms come up QUICK so there's definitely lots of studying but it's freaking COLLEGE--studying's important! i'm a ucsd student and i love all the new friends i've made and don't regret anything. :) and the campus is def awesome.

  • Awesome thanks for your help! I am still 95% sure I'm coming to UCSD. As long as it's relatively easy to meet new people I'm fine with that. And I want a good balance between studying and social life. Plus I prefer the location over the smoggy city UCLA is in. Do you know how good UCSD's sociology department is? I'm going in undeclared but I'm leaning towards that as a major.

  • dang i wish i would have been accepted to ucla instead i am gonna live it up at ucsd.. kinda bummed but not really i gotta make the most of things

  • @eatmashimaro thank you for this comment. i just applied and ucsd was my top choice until i heard rumors about no social life there, so for a while i was kinda not sure if i wanted to go. but this comment makes me feel much better! haha thanks =)

  • this is great, i was just accepted to muir college. hopefully i'll get a double, the tripple looks kind of cramped. is this a room in a suite or are the muir dorms not set up in a suite style?

  • I believe all the dorms at UCSD are suite style.

  • i ranked muir first but got into my second choice marshall :[ but still excited i got in! thanks for posting! now i know around how cramped i'll be :]

  • helllaaa shoes lol

  • Gosh how cramped is it in a triple? I've applied to UCSD for Fall 2009 and I'm hoping to get into Marshall. I really want a single, but a double would be tolerable. I don't think I could stand a triple.

  • Singles are fine

I think almost all doubles were converted to triples since 2006

Marshall triples are 3/4 the size of Muir rooms--maybe even smaller.

  • triples are fine. you'll get used to it if you end up in one.

  • Hey, who likes Dir en grey?

    That person rocks.

  • That would be me haha

I got the poster at their first concert in LA in 2006

  • Ah man, that was the one I missed! I went to their 07 one, and their most recent one here at the Wiltern in Nov.

Your triple is bigger than the one in Warren's!

  • I haven't been to any since 2006 :(

I had a chance to go to the one last month, but money's tight!

    I'm guessing you're a freshman in UCSD?

  • Ah yeah. At warren, obviously.

  • mexican ... you are lame

    =)

  • oO you have a straight iron? lol...

  • Hey r u still at muir do u know matt in room 107 if u do cud u ask 4 sum contact details thanks

  • our dorm rooms are the biggest on campus, though.

  • Thats so much more space than warrens
