I'm glad simple people are not giving in to the craziness of politicians and their elections campaigns. They continue living together, singing songs in weddings and not giving a shit about lunatics and nationalists on both sides of the border. dobranoc labanakt good night and will see you in Vilnius
Vilnius is Lithuanian, Bielorussian, Polish, Jewish, Russian, Italian, atheist, religious, straight, gay, calm, crazy, baroque, classical, gothic, feminin, masculin, rainy, sunny, sad and funny. For those who don't agree I suggest not to pollute my town with their dirt and hatred. And please stop putting it into drawers of your narrow perceptions,
We are brother nations so what the problem? I live in Chełm near Lublin where was Union in 1569. We lived together , we fight together and we build together. Glory Lithuania and Poland! We shoud live in peace! :)
Good morning! I came from Poland. In my opinion Wilnius is a Lithuanian and Polish city, Warsovia is a Lithuanian and Polish city and Cracow , Gdansk , Grodno , Brzesc is a Lithuanian and Polish city. Why? Because Lithuaniuan people and Polish people build this city: Radziwill , Lubomirski , Poniatowski , Czartoryski , Pac , Zamoyski , Sapieha.
eh, I would rather say it has common history, nor a Lithuanian, neither a Pole should deny each others influence. There would be no polish Wilno without lithuanian Vilniaus at the beginning. Both nations built this city, that's why is so beautiful now.

I suppose that Lituanians are finally happy that Polish people start avoiding their purely Lithuanian city.
Myself I recommend vibrant mixture of Gothic and Art Nouveau in Riga or lively and metropolitan city of Lviv as your holiday destination.

You have serious anger problems.

Plus, isn't it better if someone objective, aka NOT Lithuanian or Polish, appraise the situation?
