Here here...I wish they had better management in the "great '90's". Too bad the three girls split Wild Orchid. I went to a Cher concert at Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, CA, when Wild Orchid was supposed to be the opening act. The shnook who ran the show put Wild Orchid on before the parking lots were full and people were seated. Most missed their act. Wild Orchid was followed by a very "out-of-it" Cindy Lauper...who sang like she was on OxyContin...Lauper was nauseous

In recent times, w/ a more level playing field, women have more opportunity to show their composing skills. They have a natural advantage of expression, organizing thoughts, and WOMEN HAVE PROVEN BETTER HEARING and make better audio engineers, but they have less tolerance to the sex and drugs in studio life. Not a single DVD movie in my collection has a female composer. The reason why movie producers don't hire female composers is because the quality of the music has an enormous impact on the success or failure of a movie.
