i can do vertex perfectly and it took about 3weeks to learn and after 4 years of not playing with it, i still know all the tricks i did before. so all you need to know is that you cant forget to spin around.

@Jumpingmelonz Any sticks are ok (I think), and Finesse is ok too (I use them). But in my opinion Mr Babache Evolution Kit 1s help very much in excalibur (I learned vertax when I got them), so get them if you don't have them.

HELP ME i can do the excalibur correctly now but i need to know why everytime i do a stopover it falls off the string and please someone atleast tell me what im doing wrong

i need help, there are two problems for me when im doing this trick

a) i cant walk around in circles or the diabolo starts tilting way too much

b) when i get the diabolo in a perfect vertax the diabolo keeps tilting and tilting, tangling

@DIABOLODUDE11 we'll been tryi' a lot myself. first off start with keeping left hand above the diabolo ( like when you adjust it in normal mode) then if you get i t in to vertax, and overdo it, spin in a cirkel around yourself (to the left) when you can go vertax 10 sec, or more, pratice more. that's about how far i have come ;) pratice, creates champs

I've been trying this for about a month and am failling. How long is this supposed to take to learn just the basic part of keeping it vertical? It keeps getting tangled around 10-20 degrees before getting 100% vertical for me, help!

A month is probably a little long. Like most juggling/diabolo things, the time it takes for someone to learn it varies greatly, but I didn't find it all that technical.

Regarding potential issues...it sounds like you may not be turning your body at the right pace. Also make sure that you have a clean string, or all hell breaks loose XD

If you post a video it'd be much easier to help you out ^.^'

It works for me but it tilts the other way... When I try the Chinese Acc it starts tilting forwards instead of backwards.. Pretty annoying actually.. I am using Finesse if it matters with the Diabolo..

Alright, to all of those who have it tilting the wrong way, I just solved this problem myself. So, the reason Excalibur works is because the string is brushing against the diabolo. You can try this by just building up speed then moving the hand you would normally raise forward or back. So, if it was leaning the wrong way it means the string was brushing against the wrong cup (which for righties is the one nearest you). Try bringing the hand you raise forward as well as up. See if that helps.

Thanks for vid :) It helped to see how chinese accerelation changes when you go for excalibur. I can do it somehow, but learning 2 diabolos at same time so when I get enough of this I move to 2 diabolos and when I get enough of it ill move back here. :) And people who say that it turn outwards, use your brains, if u have "right wrap" on, then it turn inwards when right hand is nearlier u than left, thats not so hard to understand, really..

Put on new string, if your string is old it'll mess up, also try to keep your accelerations subtle not to violent
