That the only reason why NEB games was so close. They knew Texas all year round couldn't run the ball so they stack the line. Suh blitz like a mad man. This year newton and whitaker are back and better and texas pick up a nice big back like a ricky williams style runner. This will allows Gilbert to throw better with less pressure.

Oh and obviously Mizzou's 2008 team was their best team, I mean 10-4 is so much better than the previous years 12-2 record right? @MizzouGuitarist Gabbert does suck. Any QB can be highly rank when you just throw the football. Look at Texas Tech. MU and NEB wants to leave is all about the money. They want the money to be share equally, but why should Texas or OU share anything, when they simple win games. Face it..MU will never be a power house in college football. NEB is a lot like the fighting Irish..Good history but no longer the best team. The north is weak. You better hope south conference doesn't move to PAC 10.

Oh that's right Gilbert is just outlandishly amazing. I mean he just dominated Bama that game was just a total blowout due to the best QB ever in Garret Gilbert. No sir, no. Gabbert is in everyway the best QB next year until you can tell me who's better now that Masoli is gone. And no not every QB can be good if they just throw the ball, Gabbert was HURT!!! First year starter injured 3/4 of the season and still good numbers! This guy has it made! When he finishes in NY we'll talk some more kk.

@MizzouGuitarist gilbert was rank 2nd next to USC starting qb for top high school prospect. Yes for a qb who got a total of 40 snaps in the entire season did very well. True freshmen. He went against the #1 defense. Gabbert is joke. No one has Gabbert rank as top qb. Do you watch football or just your local news highlights? Everyone knows Locker out of Washington is the # 1 qb. Your full of hot air! Gilbert broke all of Texas qb records. There are a lot great qb that comes from Texas.

@MizzouGuitarist If you're speaking about Gilbert he beat Colt and the former Texas Tech qb in Texas qb records. The highest in the state of texas in high school football. That why he was rank 2 for top qb from high school right behind the current usc qb (nationally).

Mizzou sucks so bad its a shame, they recruit so much out of Texas, yet they can't do anything with the talent. Recruits in Texas are better off playing at a big 12 south school somewhere than in the north.

I never said Texas never wins in Lincoln did I? I said they won't this year. And they are leaving because it's kind of a rigged conference, last year when OU went to the Big 12 championship after losing to Texas was proof of that. Ha A&M beating Mizzou that's pretty funny man considering they lost to K-State 62-14 and we beat K-state 38-12 so lolololol back at ya bandwagon! And yes Nebraska will beat UT they will. We don't need Colt Mc Coy to beat mizzou ( even though we don't play them this year) and OU doesn't need Bradford to beat Mizzou, it doesn't take much to beat Mizzou.
And Nebraska will lose to Texas this year because they don't have a strong offense to go with there great Defense, they can't move the ball at all and they really won't on Texas's Defense.
The Big 12 will be down Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and maybe A&M will be the teams to beat this year.

Are you fucking stupid??? You are talking about last years games when Gabbert was hurt!? Do you not realize that Missouri would have probably won 10 games with Gabbert healthy ? When he was hurt he still had good numbers, this year he WILL be top 5 in the Heisman (debate me I dare you). As for Texas or OU doing anything, OU was god awful at times last year and they are losing their best players while Mizzou is only getting better ones.
