Awesome......definitely Kossoff's best days. Poor guy's heroin use made his health worse and worse. But he sure was amazing. So were Kirke and Fraser though.......all 4 were something else. Rodgers toured in 2010, came to the States, with Bad Company lead guitarist Paul had gotten from Mott The Hoople.....some of his guitar riffs were off-key but they were still great!
It a good job they didnt release this song, causes eric clapton would have been dead in the water! dont get me wrong clapton is the greatest guitariist alive but these four guys will never be equilded and whats worse they are so underated
@msb105 See my other comment.......but I wouldn't say 'no one knows them', because in the States their song "Alright Now" was played on the radio constantly starting around 1969 and it's still being played alot on Classic Rock stations.
?? What about Steve Morse, Lee Ritenour, Jeff Beck and thousands of more skilled guitar players? Clapton has his benefits - no questions about that. But he is far, far away from being a so called #1 in the world. and by the way: there can´t be a number one as we talk about music, not sports.

What do I think about it you ask? Well, just great! All these Isle of Wight bands need to be released on DVD.
