I don't get it. What's the point of using a nikon lens+adapter when you could just use a canon 50/1.8 in manual mode and get the same results?

@dstar91 To my knowledge, old nikon lenses are better for DSLR video given their robust build and optical quality together with sharper focus, not to mention their inexpensive price tag.
