its not really made for durability, its merely a utility knife, something sharp to split something lol. Grant it i wish the snap was a little more secure, but i definitely got what i paid for with mine, also, stop the tongue snapping, its bloody annoying
Disappointed in the blade for you as I youtubed this thing after seeing the awesome looking sinclair website. Also can you try not to tsk so much in videos? It sounds horrible in playback!
I'm pretty sure this is a last ditch knife that you wouldn't use unless you had to. Not sure how metal handles would work either unless there were hinges. I think expectations and perceived use of this thing are off target.
@sungwei9 I know, now I have not had any experience with the flashlights, but I did receive an email this morning introducing the new flashlight. Of course it is a rendering again. It looks metal, but I'm sure it is not.
Thank you for doing a review. I almost bought something that I thought was a whole lot better! I thought it was also metal or carbon fiber instead of plastic. And thats lame that it doesnt unfold back to normal.
@CannabisDelux In my opinion, it can be sorta good for survival (since it occupies literally no space) And fooling a Bouncer (When they strip search you) to stab someone in a club, and the most common, for a practical utility knife for when in need of one. Besides that I guess it's pretty much useless.
@miguelfronteras1 Yeah I was a little after seeing your video but as long as it doesn't tear apart after using it hundred or so times I think I'll be fine with it. Well anyways thanks for the response.
@miguelfronteras1 You have to think about the purpose of the knife. It's not meant for heavy duty stuff, it's more of a last-ditch utility knife. Metal doesn't bend so easily and hinges would only increase the thickness of it. Also, the weight of having an all metal handle would add some weight. Carbon fiber isn't exactly cheap either. A plastic handle for this is perfect. I'll admit, I also expected an all-metal knife, but I understand why they chose plastic.
@miguelfronteras1 Did the website say 28 days estimated delivery when you placed your order?
Another thing is I got the stainless finish which I don't see in any other videos and was wondering if they're only sending the black or is it just that it's just more popular, what I'm asking is did you order the stainless and got the black instead?
Just ordered 2 for me and my bother for his birthday and trying to see if legit seller, thank you for your help in advance.
damn its plastic. I was hoping for metal and even hinges where it would fold. im kind of dissapointed. thanks for the vid! but i dont think im going to be purchasing one
all i want this for is to open letters and things of that such. its not like im gona carve wood with this thing. would this hold up to what i want it to do.
@gonzal05 i just got the new model, i guess the handle is still plastic but its rubber coated and stiffer.. sh*tloads better than the original! the blade is the same but it was pretty good on the original
have you tried batoning with it? lol

one thing i cant figuere out is:
wat is it for?
cutting fruit?
survival?
stabbing some one?
what do they want you to do with it?
since the handle dont seem so strong im worried you cant actualy do a lot with it.

@TheObliviousPreacher - I did order black - but it doesn't matter - you will be disappointed in the fact that it is made of PLASTIC!

Thanks for the video. The plastic is a bummer. Their video is misleading.

Aww, plastic. Probably won't get it now. I would pay twice the price for a metal version.

correction: opening and closing
miguelfronteras1 8 months ago
Yes it is nice and sharp. I'm just not sure if it will hold up to repeated owning and closing.
miguelfronteras1 8 months ago
@miguelfronteras1 yea i think the part where it folds will eventually break off after repeated folding and unfolding.... of maybe 50 times?

Its a shame that the rest of is is plastic, you would think with repeated use the plastic would eventually snap off.
