  • Hi, I have had dark, hollow under eyes for my whole life and am interested in the procedure. However I didn't see a big difference in the video..

  • Well.. She definitely destroyed her skin forever with a chemical peel. Its all shiny and almost transparent. Not very sexy.

  • how long last the treatment???

  • what do you do when you have genetic eye hallows since very young? is this the only way to treat it?

  • I'm 26 years old and I have dark, purplish circles near my tear trough and I already have hollowing right under my eyes. My mother and father had the same issues, so it's probably genetic. I don't smoke or drink to excess. Would this procedure be good for me?

  • nytimes.com/2008/11/20/fashion/20skin before deciding to go to the doctor read this article. I wanted to do the same thing for my under eyes but after reading many bad stories about fillers i change my mind! Fillers are not approved by the FDA

  • what is the difference between doing under the eyes and doing a cheek lift are they the same thing ? If they are not are both injected down to the bone ?

  • Thsi woman ha had bad lip injections.

  • Comment removed

  • My advice to who ever want to have any type of fillers injected into their face should do extensive research, Look up the comments throughout the internet of the many people who have had bad results.I wish i had.

  • I'm 14 and I have it really bad. Its depressing & I cant stop obsessing about how ugly it makes me. they look way worse in the dark,.. when the shadows are on them. My mom has them too. I can't live with them. any tips on how to get my face to lift up .. its droopy I look 80 and ugly as hell!! facial workouts are fake bullshit. I'm 5'6 & 130 pounds Im not fat, Im skinny. I just wanna look like eevryone else my age; pretty.

  • how much does it cost ?

  • @gulenzo66

Depends on the depth and extent of the hollows, but on average from $450-$650 up.

  • Does this also work for reeeally dark under eye?

  • I think her lips look really fake Bad job.

  • Either one, but you'd need to ring and check first that they actually do this procedure as not all do. .

  • should i go to the derm or plasic surgeon for this? how much?

  • This is not the treatment for fine lines under the eyes at 18! It's for hollows that develop with age.

At your age I'd more likely be recommending you start some good cosmeceutical skin care, that you don't smoke and that you protect your skin from the sun forever.

  • im 18 and have very visible lines below my eyes that no amount of make up artistry i can perform will cover :(

im worried that starting something like this that i will have to keep up with the continue to benefit the results of will have other side effects on my body!

injecting needles into my face over and over again will leave scars no?

and what about pumping this stuff into me? i mean i get reactions to some face washes!

i may sound very negative, but im just super cautious with things

  • Hi HerberDavisClinic,

How on earth do you know your not injecting into veins when you do this?

If you have undereye veins then have them removed by laser,is it then ok to have this treatment?

  • @BoyMunkey08

If you can see surface veins it's easy to avoid them when piercing the skin and for the deeper ones you draw back a little on the syringe before injecting to check whether you're in a vein or not. It's not necessary to have laser for veins in preparation for this treatment. There's always a chance that a small vein may get nicked, so patients need to know and accept in advance that temporary bruising is a risk of the treatment.

  • @HeberDavisClinic

How long do these injections last?

  • @livelovelaugh994

    A year or more.

  • @HeberDavisClinic

You talk about aspirating for the deeper areas, but you do not appear to be doing that here. Why?

  • omg i have huge genetic dark circles can plastic surgery fix them???

  • very annoying melodramatic music...distracts from results

  • Nothing that works as well I'm afraid. I wonder if there's a genetic component for you, since you're getting troughs so young. Anyone else in the family with the same problem? Either way, you sound like a perfect candidate.

  • @HeberDavisClinic Thanks for your reply. I am actually adopted so I don't know if it is genetic! I do smoke though so maybe that's an issue. Are there risks with this procedure? Could it make my problem worse? Also I am Irish, would you be able to recommend an Irish clinic/surgeon?

  • @ShamrocksGetYouHigh

Injection of filler isn't at all drastic. The procedure is just as you see in the video, takes about 30 mins, can't make your hollows worse, and the main risk is bruising that can last a week or two. The most commonly used fillers can be instantly dissolved by injection of an enzyme, so even if you don't like the result it can be reversed within minutes. Sorry, I'm in Australia so don't know any Irish clinics.

  • @HeberDavisClinic Thank you

  • Is there any treatment for tear trough/under eye hollow that doesnt involve injections...it seems drastic? Maybe thats just me. And I'd be terrified of needles in my eyes, but I can't stand the hollows anymore, I look exhausted and old and I'm only in my mid 20s.

  • @ShamrocksGetYouHigh nothing that will make a dramatic difference. There are some temporary fixes that will work for a couple hours. A retinoid may also smooth the skin somewhat making it less obvious. But if you want a dramatic difference, this is the route you will have to take!

  • nice and real

    thanks

dr glancy in london - one of the pioneers google her - 480 pounds x

  • in her 50s?? wtf she looks way younger.

  • wow she just looked after treatment that she'd been in a round in the boxing rink.

  • Nice work with the video! This one serves as an idea if ever people will undergo treatments. But of course, there are many ways for this type of treatment but this one so far I like the most!Great Stuff!

  • she look like a Man

  • her face at the beginning of the video looks like it has been either surgically altered or filled to the gills with something. she looks good for her age either way, but you can tell she's been seeing a dermatologist or PS.

  • Is Restylane or Juvederm preferred for correcting tear troughs?

  • what restylane is it? vital?

  • @xSouthxKURDISTAN

No, Vital is too thin. One of the thicker, longer lasting hyaluronic fillers, such as Perlane or Restylane, work much better.

  • scary ass music!

  • how old do you need to be to get this treatment done?

  • im 14 and i have under eye bags really bad, they are genetic. I am thinking about getting this done, is it painful?

  • I think she had a lifting too

  • she apparently had something in her cheeks and lips already. Maybe fat transfer. also it looks like the "before" picture was altered to make the under eye much worse than it actually was.

  • Nothing in the cheeks. She has had filler in her lips in the past.

The "before" photos accurately show her original appearance before her initial under eye treatment. You'll see similar results on any of the reputable plastic surgery or cosmetic web sites. Results like this are common.

  • it appears she also had rhinoplasty as well at some point. also, the lip work looks a little aggressive: the natural shape of the lips looks distorted.

  • what about sunken in eyes...? and dark lines on the eyelid?

  • How do you avoid injecting into a blood vessel, given the delicate, thin skin under the eye?

Would it be safe to aspirate after needle insertion to be certain?

    Thank you.

  • We do consider this to be an advanced treatment and only our most experienced injectors perform it. We warn patients that there is a 50% chance of bruising, although the reality is much lower. I think it all depends on the injector's experience and on their understanding of the anatomy of the tear trough. Aspirating is safe.

    Hope this helps,

    Deborah

  • I was thinking about surprising my mum with this treatment for Christmas as she is always complaning how old her eyes make her look. Would this be suitable for her, she is 64 and if so is it painful as she has never had anything like this done before? Thanks, Donavan

  • Hard to know if this would suit your mum without seeing how she looks. If you'd like to email a photo I could give you an opinion. It's not as painful as it looks. No anaesthesia required.

  • Do you use Juvederm, Restylane or Perlane for filling in circles below the eyes?

  • We prefer Restylane or Perlane. In our experience Juvederm's more likely to cause puffiness under the eyes, probably because it absorbs water better. It's also more likely to migrate through the tissues and end up in the wrong spot. We''ve had to dissolve Juvederm for several of our patients. Restylane and Perlane stay put.

  • @HeberDavisClinic hi is fat transfer a good option as 50-60% of the fat is likely to stay permanently?

  • @Ronz93

Fat transfer is used less and less these days because the hyaluronic fillers are so safe, effective, predictable and reversible if needed. I don't know anyone who's using fat under the eyes. The main disadvantage is that it's impossible to predict how much fat will survive the transplant, certainly you couldn't guarantee 50-60% everytime. Sometimes it's zero.

  • Most patients cope with this treatment really well and results can be expected to last up to a year.

  • Looks very impressive! I had no idea this could be done. Does it hurt? How long does it last?
