Until we can afford to "reset our infrastructure" we need to drill...oil is a non-renewable natural resource obviously...however at this point in time, converting our depedence upon oil to another resource (Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Ethanol, etc.) would push the US economy into a deeper recession...Obama would need to raise taxes and increase government spending in order for new resources to take over where oil/gas left off...the idea of running cars on Ethanol is great, but the price is not.....
