You don't have to be invited - they are public shows. You just pay once & all the games are free to play, and some are for sale. If you want to take part, the organisers will welcome you for sure. Most conventions are held over a weekend. Costs depends on distance, transportation & local accommodation. There are several regular shows a year in the USA. I helped to run several UK shows in the 90's - it was very hard work, but great fun. I will be putting video of them on Youtube soon.

So how do you get invited to one of these conventions, whats involved??..costs an all that??..and finally how long does the convention last??
