well apparently i was wrong and it looks like rich's training with anderson paid off. something was definately up with wanderlei's conditioning though. however i do wish rich had fought with more tenacity because it was very clear that he wanted nothing more than to go to the scorecards with a few extra tallys under his name. Not a big fan of point fighters i like to see fights finished. You got balls rich, use them.

I like Rich as much as the next guy , and i actually picked him to win the fight , but i felt that the fight between He and Wand was a draw .

Watch it again. Silva got Rich in trouble a few times but Rich consistently peppered Wandy with effective strikes the whole fight. Silva was bleeding and had welts on his side. Rich didn't have a mark.

Rich couldn't be flashy and get into a slug fest. That would have been foolish. Just like I predicted he played a smart game and won on all the judges scorecards. And even though I'm biased...I think that's a fair assessment.

Rich gave Wand more damage , and he landed more shots . Wand landed the fewer but harder shots . it could have gone either way . like i said , i'm not pissed at the aoutcome , cuz i like both guys . Rich fought smart and it payed off for him .

I know Rich won the fight but the fact that Rich hardly looked damaged after the fight compared to Silva. Shows when it comes to judging this should be taken into account. Which you guys wisely mentioned in one of your other videos.

On another note good picking Jared you got most of them right. Sorry Josh and Matt you didn't. Interested to see what you thougths are on 100. Especially Matt's on the GSP fight. I am a fan of GSP but thiago's hits hard, I am concerned.

Rich is probably an all around better fighter than Wanderlei Silva but he does get caught with knees. Just ask another Silva, speaking of which its too bad that they didn't let cameras into the Franklin, Anderson Silva training camp I would love to see that. I have to pick Wanderlei just cause I would love to see a Silva vs. Silva fight someday.

Rich will not win, especially not standing. Silva IS a technical striker, he may not have Rich's handspeed but will easily make up for it with his power and balance while standing. He also has a rather good chin but when you get caught by K1 level strikers like Chuck or CroCop you go to sleep and thats that. Even Rampage due to brutal striking power, who actually has a losing record to Silva and would ruin Franklin. Ace's best bet is to confuse him with algebra then capitalize. KO,1R if not min.

The only reason he'd get a title shot is because theres nobody left after alves. And if Alves wins he'll have to wait even longer because fitch will most likely fight him first.

Best video yet guys! I dont think franklin will have the power to put Wanderlei away but i think he has the skills to avoid getting ko'ed and out pointing wanderlei to a UD. However if Wanderlei comes in with a clinch game plan like he used on Rampage in the past Franklin could be in trouble, He's shown a lot of weakness to the muay thai plume and Wanderlei's knees are devastating as is his control in that scenario. Either way im taking FON on this one.
