I am using doll head to try out different updos, techniques and for practice. Every hair dresser use doll heads.
The PROBLEM is her way of straightening.
With this curly you should brush the hair out with a paddle brush first. Then starting at the nape of the neck taking sections all the way up, and straighten the hair with the flat iron by running a teasing comb in front of it. This way the ends wouldn't burn!!!
Hello. I loved the video but I do have some criticism. First off you need to tell your viewers that you need to use heat protection otherwise the flat iron can damage the hair. Secondly if you didn't notice there is a crease in the hair at 1:00. When I flat iron my hair I definitely don't want creases. This is just some constructional criticism. Don't take it personally. Other than that you did a great job and keep up the good work!
Great vid, I have a question: Do you recomend an special brand of hair irons? and please tell me which iron hair brands we defitinely shouldn't buy. Thanks!! :D
If I could make a suggestion....try curving the iron downward, it makes hair smoother and prevents split ends. Also, go as close to the root as possible. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but you left a huge crease
Ok. SO my opinion on your "silky and smooth" mannequin hair looks, "greasy and burnt"

The hair is really straight but the split ends are too obvious because of how many times you straighten it in one go!

1. you have a man voice, and it gives me chills.
2. you have fat man hands.
3. we can have the straightener on whichever notch we want to. thats why they make a high and low dial(DUHH)
4. you already make a huge crease in the top of the hair.
5. use heat protection.
6. you are supposed to clip the hair out of the way before you straighten it.
great vid other than those 6 reasons

Yeah. They are sold at Target.
You need a license to buy them at some discount beauty supply shops. Those are for salon owners only.
