  • This is a great simple all in one way to prepair a seafood feast using a backyard grill. I'll bet the cleanup was even easier. I grew up in New England and fished the waters of Long Island Sound as a kid for those bugs for a few years. I know what a New England clambake is and all the guys are doing is bringing that to the table without needing a beach. As far as killing the lobster first goes, that debate will never be satisfied. I look forward to using this method in Maine this Aug. Thanks!

  • @BarbecueWeb This is the reason I specify in my videos that the recipes I make are good enough for me...cause every once and a while you have some traditionalist pass through and go off on "how you did not use traditional ingredients" or "this is not traditional ______". Bahhh, perhaps the professor should indeed upload a video of his own so he can teach you guys how to do it right hehehe

  • @BarbecueWeb You tell 'em! I love on here how everybody's an"expert" on everything. Personally, I LOVED your demonstration, I've tried it and it worked out GREAT. So screw the "traditional" way to do it. Your way was easier and simpler. Incidentally, I wouldn't take any advice from that person that commented anyway, since he/she spells like a second grader.

  • i tried this last summer on my grill-- omg is was so good-- ate it on my patio table with good bottle german white wine-- i had no unhappy eaters that night--lol

  • @LeroyRifkin it was great-- but took me about 50-60 mins to cook it-- i had 2 -- 2 pound lobster in the pan-- had to rotate the pan many times to get it cooked.

  • @MrSexxxy20 You don't need an oven. You can do it on the stove. It's called a seafood boil or crab boil or shrimp boil.  You'll find most people do it on the stove.

  • Dayum, lobster itself is a filler with a couple of red potatoes n corn, i ate like 4 legs of dungeoness crab and they have ALOT of knuckle meat and i only ate 3 out of the four cause you will get a lil woozy after.

  • Yeah the lobster are already dead. You slit them open on the bottom. I work at a Red Lobster and I see this all the time. They just twitch and move alot after you kill them till they're cooked.
