  • can't i just make a VPN tunnel and users connect to my whole network range or specified range? or do i need to make a tunnel per server access

  • @Yayakills a lan is your network at one place. if you want to play lan games or access files, or print, youd have to be on that lan. but if you have a vpn, you can access those files, play that lan game, and print from anywhere in the world. id be like you were in the house, or office

  • I tried to do this the other day using proxmox vm and for some reason I could not complete the cert creation. Looking forward to using this with dyndns service for remote access (otherwise I would be denied access if my ip changed). Great vidoes guys. I look forward to each new video.

    The vm is openvz, should that matter? I have a getto rigged broken laptop...until I can get the 4k to build my virtualization server.

  • @Sugardaddy304 enable some network shares on the network. your vpn is just that a private network, if theres no network shares, theres no files to access

  • Linux this is almost impossible. Poptop aka PPTPD sucks. VPN is new. That's why Windows and mac are compatible to it. Most VPN's are routers or appliances (boxes) that are specifically coded for this purpose and forwards the ipv4.
